Bare bones but clean, quiet, with a very comfortable bed. Staff was very helpful, and we had dinner at the food carts next door. No bathroom supplies in the room, but totally provided upon request.
The room met expectations for the price.

Checked in, entered the room, and tried to check email. Network was closed (and no password provided at checkin). Called for password, but the network was down. Asked front desk if it could be resolved and they said they didn't know because they were temporary. I asked for solutions, and they said they could issue a refund, but only if I left in the next couple minutes. Asked if I could speak with a Booking.com agent before deciding, and they said I could not.

The managers are great people. Always accommodating. Very friendly. Quick check-in. Room is very comfortable and very clean. I enjoyed my stay.

The bed was comfortable. The price was okay.
The front desk person made me nervous about the neighborhood when she checked me in through a little crack in the window, at three in the afternoon. The room smelled like a cigar butt. The place hasn't seen any proper maintenance in a long time.

The staff was friendly aru was fairly big and comfortable I liked that housekeeping was there daily.
The area is busy. The long term guests are territorial. Some of the rooms are run down.

Provide hot cups...I brought tea to make in microwave but there was nothing to brew it in

Unsafe stay. NO deadbolt on the door. Worried about a break-in overnight.

Quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful despite there being a slight language barrier. Was not charged a deposit when paying with card. I like the single level, cottage style layout. So you do not have to worry about neighbors above and below you, or vibrations normally associated with muilti story motels. Bed was very comfy. AC unit kept the room very cool even when the temp was nearing 100 outside.
Second time staying here. Bathroom fan didnt work. My room did not have a microwave or fridge this time. Wifi was a bit spotty at times.

It was quiet
Had to go out and buy pillows because the pillows were flat and hard. Room had a musty smell. My niece who I was there for her baby shower couldn't even come see me because no visitors allowed I have never stayed anywhere that forbids guests.

Room was as advertised, sufficient, could have used an extra chair at the table, but was very satisfied with the overall experience.
The location doesn't offer much to be positive about, but I never felt like I was in a dangerous spot. It's Portland Road. No glamour there.

Just the comfort of the bed.
The lamps had burnt out light bulbs. No extra stock of toilet and towels. A couple of outlets didn't work.
