Large comfortable room, good beds, really good night’s sleep. Clean. Friendly.

Knowledgeable host's and spacious rooms grand setting, excellent breakfast. Very clean and most comfortable bed.

Breakfast was really good cooked to order

The only thing good about this hotel is that it has a car park and short cut walk into the town. I must have drawn the short straw with my room like going back in time, old wood furniture, the bathroom cold tap was loose the sink plug rusty and the shower condiments tray was rusty. To top of all this, the fridge in the wardrobe kept me awake vibrating on and off all night long, the vegetarian breakfast was average and to my horror dogs in the dining room while guests are eating, very unhygienic.

The room was clean, plenty of room for chest of drawers and hanging clothes. Easy access to centre of town.

Breakfast was offered as full English & a choice of other variations. Although on second day we were happy for a more continental.

No complaints.

We were happy with our room and food.We found Paul & Lorinda very polite & helpful nothing was too much trouble.It was very quiet and relaxing which we enjoyed.

Steep Hill to the Hotel as we both have arthritus in our knees.We were hoping to get a bus for some of our trips but used the car anyway

Hills but that can’t be helped and was nice and quiet and in someways more pleasant than main town.
