The pool and location

Breakfast didn’t have fresh fruit because the housekeeping ate it all. I saw them eating it and then was told they didn’t have any 2 of the 3 mornings we were there. They shut water off in the middle of the day without letting us know. We had to get our keys reactivated every day we were there which was very annoying and inconvenient.

The floors were spotless, the room was clean, and the staff was professional.

The location was good. Next to the gas station and lots of restaurants.

The room was dirty and smelled like urine. The floor was dirty and sticky, so I asked if housekeeping could come and mop the floors again. When we got back in our room, the floor was still dirty, and they only gave us fresh towels. The bathroom was also disgusting. Hair on the floor, and toothpaste stuck on the wall by the sink.

The woman at the front desk was great. Very helpful.

The first room we got (101) had a completely broken off toilet handle and non-working bathroom mirror light. The second room we were moved (102) to had the bathroom light wiring pulled out. We finally moved to 112 and while we stayed in the room the shower head was broken, handles were broken of drawers...etc.. We had stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and it was great. Sad to see how much it has gone downhill.

The bed was comfortable.

There was an over powering smell of pine-sol cleaner in the room and on the property. It didn’t mean the room was clean either. There was black mold in the grout of the shower floor. Fan in the bathroom was very dusty. Surfaces were dusty and greasy finger prints on the microwave. The walls were paper thin. Could hear the neighbors TV as well as people in the hallway.

The lobby and rooms were very clean. The cleaning staff were very meticulous and the front desk staff, with the exception of one, were very friendly. The location was perfect for our needs.

The hotel was either old or required updating. Our main issue was the smell of tobacco smoke in our room. Since there are no carpets in the rooms, we believe the smell was coming from the ventilation as it came and went. At times, it was quite strong. There is a sign at the front desk indicating that patrons smoking in rooms would have a fine added to their bill. I do not believe this was enforced.
