The hard mattresses, the loud kid crying at 6 am until about 9 am.. kids were playing knocking at the door all night .

The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and well organized. Breakfast was also good, especially the mini-waffles. The sausage and eggs were also surprisingly good for hotel fare. The indoor pool was pleasantly warm and a good size. HGTV, as ever, was entertaining, not that the hotel can take credit for that.

The hot water situation was very disappointing. We called in advance to verify the indoor pool and hot tub were working, but arrived to find that the hot tub was cold. Not cool, not lukewarm: actually cold. There was no maintenance person available to address the issue, and no apparent interest from management in resolving it in a timely fashion. These facilities were a large portion of why we chose this hotel for a family getaway. Our disappointment cannot be overstated. The single staffer present did something in the mechanical room, and I heard from other guests that the water did warm up for about a minute before cooling off again. When I asked him about it, he said that the water splashing out of the hot tub was the problem which...didn't make sense. Water always splashes out of hot tubs. I let it go and asked him to check again, which he did. Whatever he did this time, it had no effect. We gave up on the hot tub. Then, after swimming, our shower also didn't get hot, though with some effort we were able to get the water at least warm enough to rinse off. The water pressure was very low throughout our stay. Again, no maintenance person was available, though we were given tips on adjusting the handle to get more heat out of the shower. Finally, in further evidence that this hotel is in severe need of maintenance, during breakfast the ceiling started leaking into the breakfast room. They put a trashcan under the leak, and that's when we decided to make our exit. When we checked out, the front desk person, who I hadn't seen before, asked how our stay was, and I voiced our disappointment. Their sympathy amounted to: "Sorry, about that. Our contracted service company only works during the week." Gee, thanks. In my opinion, this is a massive oversight and a very poor business decision, but perhaps leaving your weekend travelers with a cold hot tub, weak showers, and leaking ceilings makes good sense to someone.

Room had roaches.

Pool and jacuzzi was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

Using the television and remote control was confusing.

Everything was great! The staff was very polite and nice. The facilities were accommodating and right off the expressway. I stayed there two nights. On the second night I noticed the comforter was not clean. They still gave me another one but I would just say double check. Every thing else was great. The hot breakfast, heated pool, staff, everyone was so nice and welcoming. The check in & out was fast. I would definitely come back! Thank you all!

Just double check the bedding. Everything else was great.
