It had a weird layout. It’s definitely an older Hotel with old facilities, it also felt a little creepy inside the rooms.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent individually prepared breakfasts. Comfortable beds. At a very reasonable price.

our room was upstairs and i did not locate an elevator, so i carried my luggage up the stairs.

FANTASTIC BREAKFAST! We stayed here this time two nights before and after the Rose Bowl Game, but once before for the 2015 Rose Parade,. and I always remembered the breakfast. There is a short order cook who makes your breakfast from choices on a menu--ranging from omelets and traditional breakfasts of ham and eggs to pancakes and eggs Benedict. The breakfast room was pretty full, but the wait was short--she had several orders going at the same time. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The room had a sitting area with a sofa and coffee table. Easy access just off the 57, but a very quiet location; beautiful courtyard grounds and pool area (although as it was cold and rainy, we didn't spend time outside). I especially liked that the heat/air conditioner was a long ways from the bed with a low dividing wall in between so that it didn't blow in our faces all night. Parking close to the building.

The plug for the bathtub didn't work but otherwise, our only complaint was the access to our room. The hotel has no elevator (all the corridors are outside), and we had to carry our luggage through a keyed gate and up (and down) a flight of stairs, and then down a long corridor to our room--we're 76, so this wasn't an easy task. When we departed it was raining and the stairs were not covered and very wet. An elevator would be a major addition to this hotel!

Many amenities were out of order(hot tub, treadmill, computer room). Lots of mosquitoes in the room as well as ants.

I stayed for my son's wedding. Room was nice clean & big, quiet.

Little pricey for 1 night stay & hot tub was broken & flooded the entire pool are so it was closed and wasn't able to use it.

The breakfast was exceptionally good. Nothing was lacking. The staff who prepared the warm dishes did a fantastic job and were very friendly. Breakfast was always a pleasant experience. The hotel was kept extremely clean and fresh smelling. I was very impressed. The staff taking care of cleaning the hotel were very dedicated to their work and I commended them. Also, the breakfast staff, I commended. Housekeeping were very kind and flexible. They did an excellent job at cleaning the room. I was very satisfied.

The front desk staff varied in how well they were trained. Some understood good customer service, others did not seem to have a clue or could not go "off script" when I asked a question. I asked about busses and expected it was something the staff knew about, also sights. (Re: sights, one of the staff just referred to the brochures in the lobby!) Other hotels just have that information at hand and are happy to guide. I needed to use the Business Centre, but it wasn't available and the staff could not say approximately when it was expected to be re-established. The Wi-Fi was extremely bad!! And the 'switchboard' functioned poorly. My brother and others tried reaching me through the hotel where there was no answer. Als, staff were not good at giving messages or carrying through wake-up calls. I could see there was a lack of staff at the front desk, so I do understand the problem. But it is not inexpensive to stay at your hotel, so the expectation is that you are able to deliver this level of service. The laundry room was unbearable to be in, as there was a heatwave on during my stay. Also, instructions were confusing to me. Front desk staff did not expect me to ask questions about the laundry room. Perhaps you should have time slots, where guests are able to book. But, maybe that is just not practical.
