We are friends and family from the US and ESP who very much enjoyed visiting the beautiful area of Luz. The pictures were true to the house description. Everything one could possibly need was outfitted very well. We were able to handle some chilly days with the fireplace and space heaters, without need of the gas heat. Having an outside sitting area attached to each of the rooms was great and the yard was nicely looked after. The area offers lots of walking routes and local towns to visit. Communicating with Ann and Chris, as well as the property managers, was quite easy. Thank you!

We had a brilliant holiday in a fantastic villa. It was clean and so well equipped. Would highly recommend for a family holiday. We was 4 adults and 4 children plenty of room,very spacious. The biggest hit with the children was the pool and the games room. The villa is located in a quiet area & within walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants and bars. Great communication with the owners Chris & Ann and I would definitely reccomend the villa to anyone wishing to holiday here. Overall an excellent holiday, we would love to return in the future.

We have just returned from a week is Casa Berlin. The villa is beautiful and had everything that we needed. The pool and the garden area are amazing and beautifully maintained. There are views of the sea from every room, and the garden. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything that we needed and two fridge freezers which was a bonus. It is an easy walk to the beach and the restaurants of Praia da Luz and the two supermarkets (Baptista and Spar) are extremely handy and fairly big for a small resort. Ann was extremely helpful in booking and was amazingly flexible in rebookimg when Covid struck - thank you Ann. Also Paula as the local contact was extremely helpful when we contacted her when we arrived and asked how to open the gate and told us to push the gate harder (thank you Paula!). Overall a wonderful villa and we hope to be back.

We had amazing time at Villa Berlin. Ita perfect for 8 people. We were 9 but made it work. Pool gorgeous!! Woukd highly recommend for families!!!

The house was really nice, with beds, baths, and plenty of room for 3 couples. The backyard by the pool was a favorite hangout, and the many balconies have beautiful views. The location was perfect. So close to the Atlantic & walking trails, and also within walking distance to town. Would highly recommend to anyone. Hope we can return someday,

The house was great and the kids loved the pool. It's located in a calm location and takes about 20 min on foot to get to the sand. We had a little problem with hot water but it wasn't enough to ruin the vacation. Overall we recommend and probably will stay there more times. I have to say that the person who represents the owners and takes care of the house could be nicer, the owners I liked very much.

This is a great place to stay in Luz. The house is walking distance to the beach and not far from grocery stores and restaurants. We ere able to walk pretty much everywhere to access services. It’s also located in a quiet part of Luz so you are pretty much guaranteed a good sleep.

Such a great house to rent & stay with young family...

Great villa in a lovely location. We were a group of 8 and we all had a wonderful holiday. Very close to all amenities and terrific views. Only negative was we had a late flight home and it would of been handy if we could of stored our cases at the villa for the day but this didn't affect our stay also no key in the key box when we arrived but that was all sorted within 20 mins. My husband was 50 while we there and we had a lovely meal at The Bull which we would highly recommend they also do great cocktails!!

We found this property through the home away site. We simply put in our requirements and then picked our favourite property. It was simple to use and follow the booking process. The owners of the villa are lovely and answered any questions we had personally and promptly. The villa was exactly what we were looking for , a beautiful setting and beautiful holiday home. We had a fabulous holiday.

We had a lovely stay in Casa Berlin where we were joined by our grown up children and later on with friends. Everyone really enjoyed the garden and the pool and the many balconies, which all had nice views. The house is very well equipped with plenty of cutlery and china and the dishwasher and washing machine were very handy. Only suggestions would be to review the garden furniture as some of the pool beds were unusable and a couple of the shutters need some attention . Otherwise all was great. Many thanks Chris and Ann for a great stay.

The property was very well proportioned and very well equipped. Catered for all of our requirements, excellent views from the balconie.The pool was also excellent although a little refreshing due to the time of year we visited (Oct 18). Luz is a charming village and nearby Lagos is a beautiful town. Overall very enjoyable stay.

We liked this beautiful house, well kept garden (wonderful flowers and trees) and pool very much. The villa is even nicer than it seems from the pictures; very spacious, tidy and pleasant. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms, elegant dining room, balconies with great views all over the place. As we were not too lucky with the weather, we also loved the ping-pong etc. in the basement. We enjoyed walking to Luz and to the beach. A lovely, relatively small village and wonderful beach, really. We didn't need anything else! There were some - more technical - issues with the equipment (e.g. we missed a regular coffee machine and a good knife; couldn't manage the baking oven which was too hot for normal cooking; had problems opening some of the windows). These issues were minor, however, and actually not worth beeing mentioned in more detail. Overall, a wonderful villa which we would recommend to other people and we would like to come back! Amazing villa in a peaceful quiet area of Da Luz, about a 10min walk from the bars/ restaurants. Family of 7 consisting of a 4month old baby, the area couldn't have been more perfect for a first time family holiday. Games room downstairs provides plenty of entertainment, the pool was refreshing and the garden caught the sunlight for most of the day, and the sea views were amazing. The restaurant opposite the church (apologies cant remember the name) was our favourite, along with Saffron (Indians) and the Galley along the beach area. Da Luz is a peaceful place to visit, and already were thinking about returning next year. Recommend for all couples and families.

Excellent. Wonderful location, wonderful accommodation, wonderful and private gardens and pool. All amenities are close by within easy walking distance. And the beach of Praia da Luz is an absolute delight.

Stayed in Luz and this property many times and it never disappoints. Great outside space to relax and enjoy the pool. Easy walking access to Luz and all it has to offer. Cant wait to go back next year.

This villa is perfect! The location means you can take a stroll to the beach with the kids or walk into the beautiful, little town to eat or just enjoy the friendly atmosphere. The villa itself is great, clean and big enough for two families of four to stay and not be under each other’s feet. The owners were so helpful via email, and very quick to respond to questions. The only very small downside was that the pool was not heated, but we knew this when we booked and it did not stop the kids as we took their wetsuits! (It was April!) We all had a fantastic time and would definitely go back to this lovely Villa.
