Great staff. Nice, simple, but clean room

close to stores and amenities in Truckee

They charged me a spa fee when the hot tub etc. was under construction. When I asked about removing it the staff said they didn't have the authority to adjust the bill. The manger who could do it was never there. Essentially got the run around.

loved the free coffee with it's many options the staff was friendly and helpful

loud yelling at 7:30 in the morning / both days possibly from delivery persons, but also greeting customers loudly too early since the room was near front desk

Jacuzzi and sauna were not in operation. Unfortunately this detail was not listed on website when booking.

central location, close to many ski hills, free basic continental breakfast, price

breakfast was great. lots of options. convenient location. room was clean.

good value closeness to Palisades closeness to downtown Truckee nice brewpub nextdoor groceries and food also nextdoor and there's more just a short walk

given that it's "good value" there's nothing I did not like

Pet fee was high at 45 a night. I was expecting to pay 25 a night not 45.

many hotels have a pathetic mr. coffee machine in the room. The Inn at Truckee has a pretty decent coffee/hot chocolate machine in the lobby that is free 24 hours. powdered supplies, but still good.

Not a luxury hotel, but great motel. Rooms were clean, but outdated. Lacked amenities of a hotel. However, staff was friendly. Also, great location.

heavy cleaning product smell but not necessarily clean as I found the top cabinet to have food stains.

New beds/pillows. That’s the worst night I’ve had sleeping in a long time. Why give 5 small, flat pillows when you can give 2 fluffy soft pillows?

I liked the location and the cleanliness!

I think the rooms may need some upgrades and some of the lights/appliances did not work.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable for a hotel bed. Not as good as home but far better than I'm used to when traveling.

The cleaning product smell was very strong and the bathroom floor was slick from the cleaning residue.
