Hôtel très bien situé, près de Central Park, subway E venant de Jamaica (JFK) à deux pas.
Petit déjeuner bien fourni et tôt (6.30 am en semaine, 7 am le week-end).
Gym 24/7 assez bien équipée.
Chambre confortable, cuisine full équipée (frigo/congélo/micro-ondes/lave-vaisselle/machine à café/bouilloire).
Personnel sympa et pro; il y avait même distribution de glace (délicieuse) l'après-midi à l'accueil !
La chambre manque de prises USB, n'oubliez pas votre chargeur international si vous avez plusieurs appareils à charger en même temps !

Residence Inn by Marriott has a perfect location just off Broadway between Central Park and Times Square. It is a big chain hotel with 60+ floors and all facilities you could expect including a well-equipped fitness centre. A big plus also for the guest laundry next to the fitness centre, very practical.
We stayed four nights in two wonderful rooms with a breathtaking view over the city and Central Park.
Since we had an early evening flight out of New York we asked for and got a late checkout without extra cost, highly appreciated.
The only negative was the breakfast. The content as such was acceptable even if not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. But the serving was a big let-down: only disposable (plastic/paper) tableware and cutlery. A big disappointment at an otherwise excellent hotel.

Great location, close to the subway & the park. Fantastic rooms, loved the windows & the kitchenette. Good showers & comfy beds. The staff was so warm, friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was more options than typical, flavor was medicore but it was free. Special shout out to Kimberly at the front & Orlando at the luggage desk they were fantastic & so nice!

Huone 63. kerroksessa, näkymä Time Squarelle oli kerta kaikkiaan upea ja mieleenpainuva! Ympärillä ja vastapäätä näkyivät kymmenet pilvenpiirtäjät, jotka illan valaistuksessa olivat uskomattomia. Voimme vain suositella. Muista pyytää hotellilta muutamaa päivää ennen saapumistasi.
Aamiainen oli hyvä, vaikka aluksi piti totuttautua kertakäyttöastioihin. Kannattaa ehdottomasti sisällyttää varaukseen.
Mukavaa oli se, että aamiaiselta voit ottaa m.m. hedelmiä huoneeseesi ja muutakin, jos halusit. Se ei maksanut extraa ja sitä ihan suositeltiin.
Pieniin teknisiin ongelmiin WC:n kanssa tuli apu 5 minuutissa! Lähtiessä lasku oli centilleen oikea ja kopio siitä tuli vielä kotiin jälkeenpäin sähköpostissa.
Sijainti oli erinomainen, muutama sata metriä kahdelle lähellä olevalle metroasemalle. Uber osoittutui taksia paremmaksi niin laadultaan, kuin hinnaltaankin ja odotusaika kyydille oli useimmiten alle 5 minuuttia. Sijainti Broadwayn kulmalla innoittaa varmasti nauttimaan alueen musikaali-tarjonnasta. Kävimme katsomassa sekä Moulin Rougen että Michale Jacksonista kertovat musikaalit. Kun ensi tahdit Moulin Rougessa alkoivat loppu olin sitten yhtä lentoa, hienoin esitys ikinä!
Operations Manager Jamie Bond oli erittäin avulias.
Reception alue oli pieni ja siellä oli ajoittain tungosta. Vain muutama istuinpaikka.
Palvelu oli kuitenkin aina avuliasta ja kaikki toimi. Joskus hissiä joutui aamuisin odottamaan hetken aikaa, mutta sen verran aikaa on aina lomalla. Maailmaa nähneenä jää yhdeksi 10 parhaasta hotellikokemuksista kokonaisuudessaan. Arvio yli 50 maan perusteella.

Lage, komfortable und im Verhältnis zu anderen Hotels in NY großes Zimmer, tolle Dusche, sehr hilfsbereites Personal, Frühstück, schnelle Aufzüge vor allem für 63. Stock,
Plastikbesteck, Pappbecher und Pappteller passen nicht annähernd zu dem Preis und zur Umweltproblematik.

The “common parts “ - lobby, breakfast room/bar/ on site restaurant are pretty minimal, and eating in the restaurant in the evening as we did just once, was a bit bleak. But of course the hotel is surrounded by eating places.

the AC was quite loud and the carpet was torn. Paper plates for breakfast was not acceptable.

We liked everything. The people, the room with two beds (it is biger than the one with one bed), the location is closed to everything. The kichinette is very useful if traveling with a kid. The first night we stayed in a one bed room and it was quite as expected, very small, the bathroom too small. But after changing the room to 2 beds, the space looked bigger. Next to the hotel there is a supermarket even with hot food. Also, a lot of good restaurants. A lot of metro stations waking distance.
The breakfast was only opened until 9.30 during weekdays.

The location was great for out weekend trip, very good for the park and times square, with nearby metro links to farther afield. The room had an amazing view across the city and was modern clean and well equipped.

Die Aussicht auf den Times Square aus dem 59. Stock war super. Das Frühstück konnte man in Boxen abfüllen und mit ins Zimmer nehmen. Toaster und alles hat es im Zimmer. Mehrere U-Bahnlinien in der Nähe. Vom JFK Flughafen mit AirTrain und danach Subway-Linie E direkt erreichbar (Station 1 Block vom Hotel entfernt 7th Av, 53Str).
Anfangs mussten die Zimmerkeys zweimal getauscht werden, weil sie nicht richtig funktioniert haben. Der grosse Sessel im kleinen Zimmer war fast zuviel, ansonsten praktisch eingerichtet.

The fourth floor was a nice place to hang out. The location was central.
It had mold in the shower, because no exhaust fan. It was old and didn’t seem super clean. The beds and pillows were the worst. Painful to sleep on.

Great location, clean room, nice enough breakfast. The hotel felt safe and was quiet. The staff were friendly snd gave us a delayed checkout upon request.
Using paper plates, plastic cups and cutlery and wrapping everything in plastic at the breakfast didn’t feel right. There should be more emphasis on environmental values today. Another issue, that is less important, was that the toilet door in the room didn’t lock and opened when someone opened the fridge :) we also would have loved a thicker duvet.

The courtesy of the staff (both the receptionists and Jamie), the breakfast, the location, the view from the room.
The hotel looked like it necessitated an overall refurbishment. Moreover, you cannot use the moquette anymore in 2024. Everyone knows it is not hygenic. Should you decide to use it anyway, then it has to be cleaned very well evey day.

Great location. Room is small but has everything you need and comes with a nice view. Breakfast was great too, although a little crowded sometimes.
Rooms can use a refresh, such as new paint, lamp shades, etc. Pillows were way too soft. Bathroom didn’t really offer much privacy with only one sliding door.

Location and bathroom were great (odd shower controls). Staff were great and helped with us with a late breakfast.
The main bed was a double and too small for two. No hanging space, just one small cup between 3 guests. Carpet was fixed with tape. Behind the bed unit (at mattress level was open and filthy / dusty.

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in einer sehr empfehlenswerten Unterkunft. Unser Zimmer lag im 43.Stock und bot uns einen tollen Ausblick in Richtung Times Square. Das Zimmer war sauber, hübsch eingerichtet und für New Yorker Verhältnisse recht geräumig, insbesondere durch die Küche, die zwischen Schlaf- und Badezimmer lag.
Entgegen der Bewertungen, mussten wir nie lange auf den Aufzug warten, der uns morgens zum Frühstücksbuffet brachte. Auch das Frühstück war (nicht nur) für New Yorker Verhältnisse grandios. Es gab neben dem typischen Porridge und Bagels eine große Auswahl an Aufschnitt und Aufstrichen und eine wechselnde Auswahl an warmen Speisen und Salaten. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.
Wir würden jederzeit wieder in diesem Hotel Urlaub machen!
Leider war die Lüftung bzw Klimaanlage ungewohnt laut, wir gewöhnten uns jedoch schnell daran.

La ubicación, y que no escuche ningun tipo de ruido , pude descansar cómodamente
Había pagado por una habitación esquinera con vista al time Square , y la primera noche no me dieron la habitación que había pagado, tuve que reclamar para que me cambiaran y así fue , mas sin embargo las habitaciones son viejas, y un poco deterioradas para lo que cuesta . El desayuno fatal .
