So close to beach and flager

Location! The area is very good and quiet.

Unfortunetaly my room didn't have a mattress in the sofa bed. The sofa would sink in when we sat there and couldn't use. I am very dissapointed. Anytime we turned on the vent in the kitchen it would smell like a dead rat.

Homey feel and great beach views from the pool area and some rooms.

Uncomfortable beds

The staff was very courteous and accommodating. My daughter had a fractured knee and was using crutches. We were given a condo on the first floor to accommodate her needs. Merlina, not sure if that is her name, at the front desk could not have been more helpful than she was!!

The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the pool closed early in the evening.

It was nice to be on the first floor and to have quick access to the beach and pool. I also liked that they let us check in early and the housekeeping staff didn't rush us out when it was time to check out.

Their bungalow came up as an option when I searched for rooms for 4 adults. The photos in the description showed sample apartments that would easily fit 4 adults -- turns out those photos were completely inaccurate. Even the check-in staff were shocked we had 4 adults staying in the room. They warned us that it would be tight and that the sofa bed would only fit one person. Then why was it listed on booking.com as accommodations for 4 adults? This bungalow is 100% intended for 2 adults...and MAYBE 1 child. My husband had to sleep on the remainder of the couch that didn't pull out with the sofa. He didn't have bedding because they only had extra bedding for the sofa bed. When we notified the staff at 7:30 pm that we needed more bedding they did not return our messages. So he had to sleep under beach towels we brought. The next day it was difficult to get extra bedding and when we finally did, there was no blanket or pillow with the bedding, just a sheet. So he was back to sleeping under towels. The four of us were on top of each other during our entire stay. There were 2 chairs in the small kitchen space, 2 beach towels, 2 bath towels... Clearly this was meant for 2 people to stay in. Also, the sliding door to the bedroom did not close all the way, which meant zero privacy between the 2 couples staying here. The listing was completely misrepresented and it was too late for us to find a new place to stay by the time we saw the property. I complained about it through booking.com, and the only thing that was offered to us was an apology. I've contacted American Express to get a refund. If Coconut Palms II would apologize to me directly and offer me something for our trouble and FIX the listing on the website, I would consider staying here again. Until then, I will never recommend it -- and I've lived an hour away for my entire life and everyone I know goes to NSB exclusively.
