My only complaint was that it got extremely hot even with the A/C on high which was incredibly loud. It was middle of October and usually low 30s at night so not sure why it got so hot . I tried to turn on the fan and it made an awful clanking sound. So it was either be super hot or deal with a loud AC and fan.

The hotel staff was so professional and extremely nice. He was informed about local restaurants and gave excellent directions. We will return to this establishment.

Nothing. Everything was absolutely perfect.

My wife and I stayed to catch the Cumbres and Toltec steam train. Clean, comfortable, and well-appointed rooms. The decor is more like a mountain lodge than a city hotel, and it fits perfectly with the 7,800-foot elevation. The bed was comfortable, and the room had lots of floor space, so you won't be tripping on your luggage. The area was very quiet. We could back up our car to the door and unload - no stairs!

Great location for travelers riding the Combres and Toltec RR. The grounds around the lodge are picturesque. The room was clean, and it was quiet at night. The onsite parking was conveniently located right outside the room. We used the ceiling fan at night to keep the room cool.

The one concern was that the deadbolt lock on the door was not aligned with the receiving slot in the doorframe, so it could not be used. There was the standard lock mechanism in the doorknob.

Comfortable bed, quiet and pleasant setting. Very helpful and courteous staff.

Rooms were clean but old and looking their age. Wood Furniture was worn, sink was without a stopper so don't drop anything valuable, the shower head was hard to adjust and the shower control was yellowing and hard to adjust due to its obvious age. Grill was not kept clean by the facility and we had to clean it ourselves before we could use it.

Nice, rustic motel with parking right in front of the room. Large room, well arranged and nice bathroom/lavatory area. TV (did not use), fridge, etc. Nice table/chairs next to the window with nice views.

Shower did not work when I first tried it (the assembly came apart) but the receptionist fixed it and half an hour later it worked, so not really any complaints. Just know, that this place does not serve breakfast (but there is a breakfast place nearby which is nice).
