TV operation

The complete setting and interior decorating of the house was absolutely wonderful. Loved the fireplace in the bedroom and the organic soap experience in thw bathroom.

Some jazz or classical music on the background would have completed the atmosphere, and a blanket to sit comfortable and warm on the porch.

Nice traditional house with a beautiful backyard, very comfortable room, and eco-friendly structure (I found the solid version for shampoo, conditioner, etc quite interesting!) We had a rather late check-in but the hostess found the best solution to receive us. It is a very private structure, we really recommend it if you are looking for a quiet and calm place to stay.

Walk to restaurants. Quaint town... lots of parking. Antiques and history abound all around and especially inside the Borland House! Pamela and Anna were lovely and excellent cooks as well! Breakfast was homemade and exceptional.

Leaving was a bummer. Can't say there was anything I didn't like

Good location in sleepy Hudson River Valley town. Quiet Bed & Breakfast room in well-maintained old house with comfy bed.

My room door did not lock. The town lacked quality dining options, but this is not a reflection of the property. I could not sample breakfast as it is only served after 9am and I had to leave before then, though the staff did provide some pastries in a box for me to take at checkout.

The property was centrally located.

Our TV didn’t work, every app took over 20 minutes to load and we still could not connect to watch TV at all. The room was supposed to have air conditioning and only had a stand up fan which did not do anything, neither of us got any sleep because it was so hot in the room. The bed was old and sagging, I felt like I was sleeping in a hole.I got locked in the bathroom for about 5-10 minutes because the door knob was so old it wouldn’t unlatch. There wasn’t any staff around to tell them our complaints.

We especially enjoyed the furnishings and attentiveness to the old house. Personnel all delightful.

A little chilly in our room that evening, but heaters and bed made it just fine. Water was hot.

the house was charming, lovely interior, comfortable, inviting sitting room. The hummingbird room was super cozy, the bathroom was very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious.

Great location and value

Wifi was not sufficient signal and therefore Roku tv didn’t work in in our room.

Great location within walking distance of everything we needed. Good parking. Great comfortable room.

The food was excellent. The owner is friendly and appropriately chatty. The one problem we had was quickly addressed. The room was charming, bedding comfortable, adequate seating in our suite.

Everything was wonderful.
