The location is very convenient if you’re going for any Stanford event. Literally nearby shopping centers with nice restaurants.
There was no heater, room was pretty chilly. Especially at night and the bathroom.

A little bit noisy since it's on a main street but that's not their fault. Easy to fix with earplugs

Great location & easy walk to restaurants of all kinds. The room had a small kitchenette (microwave, counter/sink, a toaster! and small table/chairs) which us getting up and out early easy. Pull out sofa bed worked great since we were traveling with teenage son. Bathroom pedestal sink BUT they have a small shelving unit to put toiletries. Great walk in shower. Very close to Stanford for college visits. Bonus points for parking FREE on-site!
Bathroom vanity with counterspace would be ideal. No room to put a toothbrush. But did appreciate the small shelves instead. The parking lot that was behind the motel was especially noisy but really wouldn't deter us from staying here again.

It hadn’t been cleaned, the blinds had brown stains, there was no air conditioning, staff was rude and condescending, did not feel safe or comfortable the entire time.

Great location, very spacious room, close to Stanford and just around the corner from Palo Alto shops and restaurants.
Plates and cutlery could have been provided.

Every thing was great. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Front desk lady was nice and friendly.

The location was great and after-hours check-in was very easy. Bed was extremely comfortable and the setup was nice (kitchenette, workspace, bedroom/TV area, and bathroom).
As others mentioned, the road noise is loud. Bring earplugs. However, I have co-workers who stayed at other, "brand name" hotels along El Camino Real and they complained about the same thing.

The beds are super comfortable. The location is perfect.
Maybe return to daily room clean up. Also use a cleaner with less odor. The place is very clean, but it smells of detergent.

* Great location (walking distance to Cal Ave shops and CalTrain station & edge of Stanford)
* Very clean rooms
* Very reasonable price compared to other hotels in Palo Alto area
* SO loud - The walls, door, and windows do not keep out noise. I wasn't disturbed by the other guests, but I did constantly hear the sounds of cars passing by on El Camino. The motel backs up to a parking lot, which is used by delivery trucks at 5am. I was woken up each morning by the sounds of trucks backing up.
I'm not sure what the motel can do about this noise, but I would suggest that guests bring ear plugs.

The price was right for this hotel. The room was clean (smelled of bleach) and I liked having two spaces (living room/bedroom).
The mirror beside the door allowed people to see in from the windows. They could just look sideways and see the entire room. The air conditioner "worked" but never felt cool. I got very warm in the middle of the night. The pillows on the bed were tiny (like sofa pillows). Several lights in the room were missing or didn't work. I could hear my neighbors snoring all night. I heard garbage trucks about every hour right outside my bed window.
