Proximity to the beach

Not the kind of room I requested or I would have stayed elsewhere ...came back Tuesday evening after dinner and the door to my room had been propped open

delicious - lots of gluten free options

The facilities were a mess; flooding in the stairwells and in the elevators.

The location to the boardwalk and beach. Had a great family atmosphere

The maid service was a little underwhelming as they didn't do our room 2 of the days and we had to ask for towels and toilet paper two times during our stay

Excellent location, large rooms, friendly staff

Breakfast tables were not cleared so it made for a messy breakfast space experience

Disappointed TVs didn’t work. Cleaning staff didn’t clean the room. Completely forgot about us. We had 4 people in the room and they only left towel for 2 and this is after they were asked to leave 4 towel sets several times. My husband dumped our trash while the cleaning man held the bag. Just not what I expected at the price we paid. Also outside showers need to be checked periodically. There was trash in the shower when I went to use a few times.

View and location was top notch--but it should be for $1000 per night.

Upon arrival, there was hair on the floor. Bugs behind the furniture. A pill under the counter in the bathroom. Wondering if floors weren't even cleaned. We were unable to get clean towels the second day due to a "shortage". For $1000 per night, you should have towels and washcloths for your family to take showers after visiting the beach.

The beat part about ocean suites was the staff! So kind and very helpful.

Extremely disappointed in the room. It was explained on both booking.com and their website that the king suite would include a sofa/sofa bed living area and dining area with table and chairs. All we got was a k9ng size bed! Then when I called the explained they bring the sofa bed to us. They brought a cot which took up a good part of the room so we couldn't even enjoy the "over sized" chair. There was no place for us to eat in the room, so our plans of using the kitchen and eating in did not happen. We definitely did not get our money's worth! They could of at least included free parking with the price. Next year, we will stay at another location for half the amount that we paid and enjoy the mile walk to the beach and boardwalk. Although the staff was wonderful it was definitely short staffed in my opinion. One person working the front desk during check out and check in times.

Awesome location. Staff, including Mark & Emu (sp?), were VERY good. Convenient parking & bar staff is great.

It took two times & 1+ days for a pile of towels & used glasses right outside the door near the desk to be picked up!! For a beach location- bathrooms should have more towel bars. A/C sounds like a jet reving up for take off. Breakfast was ‘ok’. Wonder if hotel management believes in MBWA - management by wondering around. My guess is no. FYI: believe Bethany Beach has done a great job being a summer beach destination with shopping center, numerous beach access, porter potties a each beach ramp, foot wash stations & security & life guards. Info on line says you have beach chairs & umbrellas- nothing about on beach rentals at substantial cost - should have bought our own. Don’t mean to be negative- just observations.

Parking spaces were too small/tight Breakfast was cold, not good

I booked hotels through booking. Com, this booking was by far the best. The staff from the front desk, to house keeping and the people who serve complementary breakfast were very friendly and helpful they all performed above and beyond what was requiredofthem.

Everything, staying at this hotel was very relaxing

I didn’t like the gluten free option for breakfast. It was only one muffin. If they had more options or at least another muffin that would have been nice.

We loved the location, our room was spacious & clean, great staff!!

Only 1 problem, I didn't realize there would be dogs, the last night we were there someone's dog was barking around 7am & woke me up & on the beach people were taking their dogs off lease

Value & amenities greatly reduced with the current renovations No restaurant No bar No pool No buffet continental breakfast No bikes available No Spa Tried to nap The noise with workman in our hallway could have been avoided by restricting guests to areas not affected during their stay

The sofa very uncomfortable

The staff was amazing! Every single person was couteous and helpful. There was some construction occurring so the dining and bar was not available. However the staff steered us to excellent restaurants. They also upgraded our room to an oceanfront with beautiful views from nside and the balcony. It as spotlessly clean. Beds very comfy. Breakfast offerings decent and plentiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Shower head sprayed all over, and no shower cap as supplied. Too late to request one, as I as already in shower. But that's it!

Room was clean & quiet. Staff were great. Beautiful location.

The door room key card & scanner was very glitchy & difficult to get to work.
