Overall, the room was excellent in size and amenities. The location was excellent for what we needed (main reason).
We prefer rooms that are cleaned and refreshed daily. However, we understand staffing needs. Also, the breakfast had more options the last time we stayed here. Lastly, we could not use the terrace because of a private party.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was included in our rate and was simple and adequate for our needs. We were able to park our car across the road in the Amtrak building after unloading our bags. We only had a one night stay and this was more than suitable for our purposes. Checkin was a bit slow, but this was not the fault of the staff, it was the people the young guy was trying to assist. The hotel should probably have an extra person on at 3 pm check in time. There are also places to eat nearby, but some were closed on the day we arrived (Mon)
The air conditioner in our room was so noisy. We had to turn it off during the night as even with ear plugs in we could still hear it rattling. It clanged and banged every time it changed what it was doing.

Parking was excellent and convenient. The room was well-appointed although the carpet was filthy. I booked a pet-friendly room, so wondering if this is why. We didn't end up bringing our pets. I love how the room is set up and the sofa makes it so nice. We did not use the pull out bed, but it's nice to have a sofa to spread out a little, sit and relax.
Carpet was horribly filthy but the rest of the room was extremely clean. The beds are probably the reason I will not be back. They're so stiff it's like sleeping on the floor. So horrible we could not sleep - kept waking up all night to get comfortable. Hips and back were killing me.

The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was set up in a nice private area away from seating. Enjoyed the Starbucks coffee that was provided. Also liked that there was a Starbucks on the property. We were extremely pleased with our stay and would consider returning.

tv didn't turn on. your employee tried for a half hour to make it turn on and couldn't and no compensation was offered at check out. we were charged extra to have a room with bathroom grab bars - so much for the ADA

Breakfast was awesome
I was nit pleased with the rate I was charged... I didn't know I was booking it 3rd party. I was under the impression I was speaking to a representative of the hyatt. I did not get any bonus points for stay either because of this situation.

I might as well have stayed at a Motel 6. Beds aren’t made anymore (I was not told that they only make beds every other day). I DO NOT SLEEP IN UNMADE BEDS!!!! If I have to make the bed,
Then why am I staying in a hotel??!! $200+ a night and no service. My favorite hotel in Bloomington/Normalbut I will NEVER be back. Heartbreaking!!!!
MAKE THR BEDS AND TIDY UO THE TOOM LIKE ITS SKWAYE BEEN DONE BEFOR. No one cares anymore and it makes me so very sad. The room prices should come down if you don’t have as many housekeeping employees.

The location is great and the adjacent parking lot and free parking is a plus.
The rate for a random weekend visiting my college daughter seemed like it could have bit a bit lower.

I would suggest a complimentary breakfast, which is the norm for hotels! A free cup of coffee in the morning would be nice!

This was our 2nd stay at this Hyatt on our way back up to Chicago as its a couple of hours away. Good that you can pull up outside to check in before moving car to multi storey across the road which is paid for by the hotel. Beds were comfortable and clean and we will go back again on our next road trip. Great little map available at the hotel helped us locate good food and brewery just around the corner

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean.
The breakfast was not good, no syrup for the French Toast sticks, no cream for the coffee, the floors were sticky throughout the the dining and kitchen area, there were a few hairballs with dust in the kitchen area (the man working that area just kept stepping over it) no soap or paper napkins in the rest room. No napkins in the breakfast area. The man who seemed to work there didn’t know where anything was. We had no clue that they had a terrace or a swimming pool till we heard the receptionist tell the other person checking in. No clue about the free breakfast either. He didn’t take the time to explain the amenities which would have been nice. I don’t think we’d stay there again.

Went to check in at 5:00pm and we’re told they cancelled our room. After we received an email in the morning stating they were looking forward to our stay. We had to find another hotel ourselves. Will never stay there!!!

The room was clean, and we were on a high floor, which I requested. The temperature was easily adjusted and the room came to temp quickly. The blackout shades really did keep the room nice and dark in the morning. The water temperature and pressure were perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful! The location was very convenient. Check in and check out were quick and seamless. Parking was free with our stay.
The beds were SO uncomfortable! It was like sleeping on a yoga mat on the floor. No give AT ALL. I had to keep changing my position because of hip and shoulder pain, which made for 2 very long nights of broken sleep. Not only were the beds too hard, but the pillows were too soft, as in NO SUPPORT. The location is great if you are visiting ISU, which I was, BUT, the parking garage is across the street from the hotel. During the day, this is no big deal. At night, however, it was hard to figure out where to go, depending on what door you exit, as there was no helpful signage anywhere. The Marriott across the street had a covered catwalk connecting the hotel to the parking garage. That would have been great! There were also homeless people camped out after dark. This is not a social issue for me, but a safety issue, especially since my young daughter and I passed a few people several times, trying to locate the front door of the hotel.
