We were able to check into the room at noon, two hours before check in time
Construction going on throughout the night with loud banging sounds.

Nothing.
Made a reservation via "Booking.com" and printed the confirmation. I advised that I would arrive around 10 PM. I drove 1-1/2 hours... arriving at 10:15 PM. The office was locked with no one there. I called the posted tel. number, which was answered by an incredibly unpleasant women. I explained that I had reserved a room, but that the office was unattended, She responded that there were "no rooms available". I again explained that I had a "confirmed reservation", to which she responded: "was it on line"? I said yes, and added that I drove 1-1/2 hours and that I had paid for the room.
It became more and more apparent that the women had no intention to resolve the situation in a manner that hotels normally do.
I left the hotel and returned home. Needless to say I will contact "Booking.com" to relay this entirely bizarre and unacceptable experience.

The staff was friendly. The location was good and I felt safe. The motel grounds were clean and it was a cute motel. Quiet at night. The pool was clean and my son enjoyed it.
The beds were not comfortable at all. If you like feeling like you are sleeping on the floor with springs then you will be fine but for me the beds were terrible. The curtains are not room darkening and I like black when I am sleeping. The room was light all night long so that was not good for me. Also the microwave was not clean (food splattered from someone else). I thought that was gross.

There was a gross comforter on the bed. The room had flies inside and little fruit flies, Mattress was wrapped in a mattress protector and a plastic cover. Only could park 1 car on the property.

We like the housekeeper, Any, she was very polite, helpful, and efficient. Our room was kept clean.
We did not like the lady’s attitude at check in. She was very impolite, could not even look at my eyes.

The location was great. Very close to the shore and walking distance to several seafood restaurants and a 7-11.
We didn't arrive until 1am and the gentleman at the front desk waited for us before closing up for the night. Made sure we had ice and found our room okay.
It's an older hotel, but our cleaning lady made sure our room was spotless.
The beds weren't the best.

It felt like I wasn't welcomed. I tried to book room for an extended stay, but they told me that they are booked up for weeks,

This property has become our go to place when we come back to visit family. Clean, good rates and simple to get to from the highway. The local restaurant options are all very good.
This is just being picky but more towels and a better quality towel. If anyone follows my comments on places this is always my complaint.

One time in the summer I remember there was a couple get together is going on in a little bit of noise but it was not bad at all, Plus it was summertime. But another thing I do like is the staff doesn't let it get out of control. They have a reputation that they want to maintain of being a very nice place.
