Nestled in the mountains. Beautiful any time of the year.

It would be great if the on site restaurants provided more vegan options ; I hope the resort doesn't lose it's integrity since the original owner's passing. She had areal vision. Spa area (hot tub) is very small, often gets crowded

I loved visiting the on-site bar called The Grotto - lovely bartenders and staff. The lunch and breakfast restaurant offers a small selection, but still very delicious (I would recommend the pastrami sandwich). The lofted room was very interesting and fun to stay in. There's also many places to walk around and adventure upon during your stay.

Upper loft level doesn't have a bathroom, so keep that in mind if you usually have to use the bathroom late at night! Dark outside at night, and a little easy to get lost on the first nihht.

Quiet Rustic Beautiful

Suggestions: Would love better coffee options in the room, Maybe a microwave to heat and eat small meals. Also would love it if the pool area had showers, and if the pool was heated.

The resort and grounds are beautiful

The a/c was broken the entire 3 nights we were there. It was a very hot week and it was impossible to sleep. It wasn’t until the outside temp got cool enough around 4-5am that it was cold enough to sleep with the windows open. But then maintenance was loud starting at 7 trying to mess with the unit from underneath. We’ve stayed at this resort before but I don’t recommend staying here when it’s very hot especially with how pricey the place is.

Couldn't find where the breakfast was.

It would be nice if my room have a microwave. Would be nice to have more information about breakfast. We didn't know where or when it was at.

The proximity to trailheads and being away from town is great. The resort ground was overall nice, and the high ceiling of the room as well as the overall design makes the room feel spacious and aesthetically pleasing. Lots of hooks on the walls for hanging clothes or small items.

The various lights from the fridge and the panel by the main entrance are too bright at night. The lights at the desk and the beds could be brighter as they are too dim. The restaurant was a letdown as my dinner, a chicken salad, was quite basic and the chicken was cold and dry. It disappointed me enough that I didn’t have any more meals there even though I had planned to eat at the resort restaurant entirely during my stay.

This was such a nice serene property. It was beautiful and very nice.
