The hotel was very clean and newer. The employees were very nice and seemed happy to be working for the hotel, which showed through to us the guest.

I thought the price was high for the hotel. Over $200 per night.

We drove 3 hours to Peoria to see a concert at Civic Center. The hotel was across the river and really not walkable to venue. It took about 10 minutes to drive, so it was in a good location. There are some fast food restaurants nearby but I recommend going to downtown Peoria which has nice restaurants and walkable area.The parking at hotel is outdoors but they have a nice large lot and plenty of spots. The hotel is clean and rooms are updated. The beds are so comfortable! The staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and had great variety of items. Wifi worked well, pool and fitness center looked nice but didn't use.

The only thing that needs improvement is the coffee. I didn't think it was good at all.

Samual was fantastic. He checked us in and shared some great suggestions for dinner. He is a brand ambassador for holiday inn express. Outstanding service and business acumen.

I loved the fact that the location was right off the expressway! The staff Ashley was wonderful! She help make my stay pleasant!
