furnishings were great. accommodations good.

Shower/bathtub has a very slow drainage. ( clog drain) Shower r head leaks; causing water pressure. When reporting staff at the front desk, your associate didn’t seem concerned about the issues. The last time I stayed at this place, the electronic lock for the front door wouldn’t engage. Does anyone really red these issues as I have never received a response much less an apology.

The man who checked us in, bald headed man, who was on his way outside to smoke but stayed to check us in. This man does not need to be in the hospitality industry, extremely rude. Booked this online and requested a room on the main floor with a view of the city. When check in was complete he handed me room keys for room 218, second floor. I told him I requested the main floor with a view of the city. All he said was well you have the view. His tone and attitude was extremely rude. Because of this I told him I didn't believe him and he said here look at the screen. That is a privacy issue which I did not do. We proceeded outside to get our luggage, he was there smoking and made this comment, very loud, YOU DON'T HAVE TO STAY HERE. I understand some request cannot be filled. But the rudeness of this man was not necessary. And to act like that with other paying customers, unacceptable. The front desk guy was great. Very friendly and was super nice to help us. And the pool and hot tub was great.

Our room had trash on the floor beside the chair from the last people. And our bathroom towels had fallen off the towel rack in the bathroom. And I wish there was some kind of breakfast

The price was really affordable and the staff were reasonable. Not bad for basic lodging.

The rooms and even hallways showed obvious detritus on the carpets. The hot tub looked like it could benefit from a thorough cleaning. And for some reason the Gold King Mountain Inn charged me 80.00 on my debit card several days after l checked out. I called them and was informed the manager was out sick and they would call me back. Yeah right that didn't happen. Guess it was too good to be true. I might stay there again but l'm not planning on a trip to Cripple Creek in the foreseeable future.

The facility was clean and the shuttles were free all night long.

Beds were very squeaky and the walls are pretty thin. I could hear the conversation of our neighbors pretty clear at 3am.
