Our stay was incredible! We had someone waiting for us to check us in at arrival and we truly loved everything about our stay at the property. I stayed in the bedroom upstairs and the view was perfection, which made the stairs up to it worth it. Yes, the restaurant is next door, but it didn't bother us at all. The location was perfect and the description of the property is accurate. Highly recommend this rental.

This cute and perfectly placed rental in Oia was fantastic. The upper bedroom had a perfect view over the Caldera. Marios met us and carried our baggage to our rooms. He maintained contact with us and was ready and available with any help we needed or questions we had for him. Totally recommend this as a great place to stay when visiting Santorini. It won’t disappoint.

It’s really hard to rent property by descriptions, but this was very accurate. We enjoyed our stay and thought it was just perfect for us .

Great for family and walking distance to shops, restaurants

The house was lovely and likely would work well for most families. However, the second bedroom was only accessible by a small exterior staircase so my older parents didn’t feel comfortable staying there. Instead, they stayed in the main house with the kids on the twin beds. It worked out fine, but this wasn’t clear in the listing. The house and rooms were lovely and for those that otherwise don’t want a lot of stairs to get to your house (which is common), this was a great location.

We loved our stay. The home was perfect and love the location. Right in the heart of it all and my view was amazing. The home was so beautiful and we really enjoyed our time there.

Loved our host Marios and the cave home was magical. Anywhere you stay in Oia will have some lack of privacy, so enjoy the views and the comfort of this beautiful home!!

Our stay in Oia was the best thing about our time in Santorini. Our charming home in caldera was comfortable cleaned and a centrally located.

Excellent apartment over all.

We stayed in this lovely refurbished home for a week. The views are incredible as are nearly every cave house in Oia. Mario was very sweet, helpful and prompt in reply to answer any questions. A couple things to consider before booking: The location is in a busy area with zero privacy. Constant foot traffic of either sunset watchers or selfie takers and maybe thats ok. However, access to the upstairs bedroom is via an outdoor staircase. There’s a non stop balcony restaurant 5 feet away where diners are eye level looking right at you and what you’re doing. (We actually had a conversation with a couple from Scotland while they were having breakfast) So no coffee in your pj’s enjoying the sunrise nor wine on the balcony in the evening. The outdoor space is frankly useless unless you enjoy being starred at by 30+ strangers. The next issue was the upstairs bathroom shower has about 2 minutes of water. You will be left in a lather for 10 plus minutes while the tank refills. After 2 days we realized all showers had to be done downstairs. Which takes you back to the outdoor staircase with balcony audience. The wifi doesn't work upstairs either. So more up and down the outdoor staircase. Which was a total drag in the morning. Next negative was a hidden 25% fee from the host. Many emails inquiring why the balance was off. Finally she sent a snap photo of a nearly $600 “tax fee” that is not listed in the balance/payment details. When I asked why the total was off the host finally responded with a pic of the hidden fee without further explanation then ghosted me for 6 weeks. She did respond to check in though.. I’d still give communication an F-. Other than the over charge, poor communication, lack of upstairs shower or wifi and complete lack of privacy, the house was clean, charming, came with considerate touches like organic slippers for each guest, and daily cleaning with fresh towels.

This place was absolutely gorgeous and we would definitely stay here again. The host arranged transfer to/from the airport, this made it very easy. It's nice that they come every day to tidy up and give fresh towels. Things to note: the daily breakfast referred to in some of the reviews was discontinued last year (the host did bring us some wine!), and there is no longer a dryer on site (there is a washer). Had some trouble on the first night with wifi, it was resolved by the morning. Despite those few things, I give this place 5 stars because it is simply beautiful: great view of the sea, beautifully decorated, and the hosts were so kind and helpful. And Oia is not to be missed.

Gorgeous property in a perfect location.

We only used the downstairs of this property but the upstairs room was also beautiful and had a great view from the patio. Just a few steps from the main walking/shopping/restaurants in Oia. Everything was very comfortable and well stocked. Isavella’s help and communication was wonderful.

The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. However, the floor of washer and dryer were littered with trash The location of the property is right across from the loading site for the donkeys therefore the ground in front of the house was covered with donkey dung.

Everything you could want in a place. Great location in the middle of town, super responsive and helpful hosts, great breakfast, reasonably priced, clean, super comfy beds (Beware however if you’re above 5’6”, as all the doorways are lower than that). Seriously though. Stop looking and just book here. Super highly recommended.

Location couldn’t have been better in Oia. Beautiful property. It was a very busy time with all the cruise boats and it was nice to explore Oia early in the morning without the crowds there

This property is perfect! The perfect location, the perfect view, the perfect size for my family of 5, the perfect manager and host! We are from the States and had never been to Greece, much less Santorini. Needless to say... what's not to like? Santorini is gorgeous! Oia is the perfect vacation spot... tons of shopping, restaurants, views... did I mention the views? But this house made the perfect place even more perfect! The house is the perfect size for a family of 5-6. My husband and I had privacy and space from our 3 young adult daughters- the bedroom/ bathroom/ patio upstairs has its own separate entrance but is still part of the property... in fact a "window" covered by a picture opens to the loft space of the main house. So if it is opened you can talk with whoever is downstairs when needed. The main house has a main bedroom with a king size bed that 2 of my girls slept in and then 2 "couches" actually twin beds... are in the living room area.. my other daughter slept there. I will say, we didn't spend much time in the house and when we did we hung out in the courtyard/ patio area. There is a couple chairs there along with a table and then a comfy couch area. You can also sit on the wall ( where I liked to sit) and enjoy the people in the courtyard with you and enjoy the view and the people walking by. This spot on the Caldera is just amazing. Nice and close to the top so the views are great AND you don't have tons of stairs. The house is right next to a restaurant and the people eating are "right there" when walking out of the top floor... but who cares? The house provides daily cleaning service ( not a major cleaning but beds and trash) and ... drum roll please... They bring you breakfast every day! Not only did this save us a considerable amount of money... but it saved time and trouble. They brought it in a basket with hard boiled eggs ( still hot) croissants, bread, greek yogurt, a meat/cheese/ cucumber platter.. olives or tomatoes. Honey and marmalade. It was so nice to eat in at least once a day during a vacation where we ate out so much. The house also provides a coffee maker and a cappuccino maker. There were so many good things about this trip I could go on and on... but I think you get the idea. This is amazing... you should def. stay at Aerie house.

Pro: 1. Fantastic service 2. Daily breakfast was excellent. 3. Daily cleaning service 4. It’s in the heart of everything yet quite when you are inside the house. 5. Beautiful home and fantastic view 6. We always perceived that Fira was the heart of Santorini. After going there, we realize that Oia is the crown jewel of Santorini. If you are debating weather to live in Fira or Oia, I would strongly recommend Oia. Cons 1. The internet in the upstairs room is weak 2. The beaches are approximately 30 min away by public transit. The public transit system is great and worth taking this vs cabs.

The apartment is in the best location, close to everything with the most breathtaking view on the island. The apartment is beautiful and perfectly laid out. Isavella and Mario were so helpful with transfers..

This property was in a perfect location to explore Oia and Santorini. It was a perfect spot for two couples traveling together and the breakfast we received each morning was an amazing bonus! I wish communication was a little better prior to the trip, but once we were there the property host was very helpful in helping book transportation for us. Best, Mari

This property was spectacular. They provide food for a light breakfast which was awesome and coffee. A full kitchen. The place is set up so you could have two couples enjoy a bedroom own bathroom and privacy. Tyne view just outside the room was amazing.

Isavella and her management team did a great job making our stay a pleasant one. Even though there were a few hiccups - they were very responsive and attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend this property as it is in a great location, provided everything we needed, including a lovely breakfast each morning.. Thanks!

Our host's hospitality was unbelievable and made for a wonderful trip. The house setup let our two couples enjoy our own private suites, adding to the vacation. Breakfast every morning was wonderful too. Can't say enough good things about our time in Oia.

The location of this property could not be better. With the multitude of people that converge on Oia during the day and for sunset, we were right in the middle of the chaos. Our most enjoyable time was watching the sun rise, having Oia to ourselves with some of the most incredible photos of the most unique and quaint village in all of Greece. Local cats adopted us, which my wife loved - daily breakfast was perfect (warm breads, yogurt, fruit) - and the views were second to none. The host was attentive and helpful. Wifi was a challenge, but it was not enough to disappoint the overall impression of the property.

What a beautiful and welcoming gem. Fridge was stocked with Wine, Bread and Yogurt, which was a welcome surprise. We were only able to stay a very short time, but definitely found the home cozy and in a perfect location. Definitely glad that we took advantage of the time between sunrise and 10am to explore Oia, as the scene definitely changed when the tour busses arrived with Cruisers. **Wish we would have taken Isavella up on the offer to arrange transport from the port - would have been more efficient and less expensive. She arranged transport back and we were very pleased and appreciative.

The house is absolutely beautiful and stylish. The level of service was superb with daily cleaning and a delightful daily breakfast, including the best croissants I had in 2 weeks in Europe. Communication was top notch, with the host arranging transfers and giving tips and advice as needed. By far the best vacation rental home I’ve stayed in. In regards to the restaurant noise brought up by another reviewer, it wasn’t at all bothersome for us. It wasn’t all that loud - just normal people quietly talking through lunch and dinner. And if you want to stay in the heart of Oia, there is no such thing as a balcony with privacy - the views of the whole village, including all balconies are what make Santorini so stunning and famous.. If you want 100% privacy and quiet, don’t stay in the middle of a destination town. But if you want the convenience and great access to the beautiful village of Oia at your doorstep and from your balcony, stay at Aerie. Highly recommended.

The photos were a good representation of the home. We had 2 couples so it was perfect for us. Both units have air conditioning. Isavella was wonderful to work with. She was responsive to all my questions and she helped set up a rental car (and accommodated our last minute changes). The breakfast was delivered on time and although it wasn't a big breakfast, it was fresh. The home was clean. We received daily maid service which was a nice surprise (not always provided with VRBO homes). The kitchen would be great for anyone who wants to cook, but we just used the coffee pot and fridge (so many good restaurants close by)The location is perfect if you want to be in the middle of Oia. The upstairs unit would not be good for anyone who has hard time with steep, small stairs and it would not be good if you want privacy; we knew from previous reviews what we were getting. The only negative thing I can think of is the upstairs hairdryer was missing so we had to share one between the two couples. But that was only a minor issue for us.

We stayed here for 5 nights in October. The home is very beautiful and very adequately equipped. The location however, not so great. Here are the Pros and Cons of this property. Pros It is only a few steps from the main square of Oia. Very conviently located Excellent ammenities in the home, they have thought of everything Very comfortable beds The first day they delivered Oj, bread, jams, yogurt, honey etc.. for breakfast, as well as a tassimo machine fully stocked with coffee Cons There is not one speck of privacy at this house It is very loud from 9am until approximately midnight every day This home has two patios. One large one at the bottom entrance to the house and one off the second floor. ( which is pictured and would ideally be the perfect spot to sit and relax, have a drink) The problem is that this place is right next door to which is probably the busiest restaurant in Oia. It seemed to be a very popular spot for the cruise ship passengers to eat/drink. You could literally reach out and touch the guests in the restaurant next door. Thus if you are on the downstairs patio, the people sit literally overtop of you seeing your every move. Alternatively if you are on the second story patio (beautiful view) you are sitting virtually right beside restaurant guests that can get very loud and annoying. Besides the restaurant , there is also as I all I can describe it as is a service alley in between the house and restaurant where workers keep their supplies, (linens, etc...) The workers socialize here each morning during break and can be quite loud. This would be a great stop and for 1-2 nights, and you could get over the noise. For us, we were on the end of a two week Greece trip and were looking forward to unwind a bit and enjoy some peace. Unfortunately this was not possible here at all. After spending 5 days in Oia we realized that nothing is secluded and full privacy will be a luxury but this place is way at the other end of the spectrum with zero privacy. To be fair to Isvella she did listen to our requests and did try to find other arrangements for us, but was unsuccessful as it was very last minute. Also, she was quick to answer every request and was there to help whenever we asked.

Where do we start... we really enjoyed our stay here. The location in Oia was perfect and seconds away from the heart of the town. It was also great because if you book any excursions, you are also seconds away from the Oia pick up point, which is great for when you’re carrying suitcases, etc. One thing I did not really read mentioned was that we had breakfast every morning and turn down service every day for the beds. She even did our laundry one day and folded everything for us too. Such a great bonus. The view of the caldera is incredible and this place really captures that. The ONLY thing was we are right next to a restaurant that overlooks the home, so if you walk out in your trousers, you will be on display to several people. It’s literally right above and so close by everyone can see. If that doesn’t bother you, this is the place for you. We really enjoyed it and would definitely rent here again if we came back to visit Santorini.
