Just a few miles from A state part and the Town of Helen. The cabin was spacious and plenty of amenities.

There was nothing we were dissatisfied with.

Roof over porch fireplace on both sides leaked bad when it rained and it rained! House had a smoke smell from indoor fireplace. Get a fly swatter for the house! Get a fireplace lighter that works for the house. Replace the welcome met on front door, first impressions are lasting!

It was very private.

It was very tired and dated. The dishwasher didn’t work and the fireplace didn’t work. It has been a while since any updates have been made. It wasn’t as clean as I would have liked.

We loved everything about our stay here. From the convenience of it being a scenic 20 minute drive from Helen to the secluded comfort that the cabin itself provides. The décor was very cozy. We really loved the hot tub on the back porch and the privacy we had while using it. No one is able to see the back porch from any of the surrounding cabins. The inside was very cozy and the bed comfortable. The pool table was a fun touch. The shower is very up to date and easy to use. We loved our stay here and would 10/10 recommend to anyone. I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. It was very hard to leave. We loved every minute of it!

There were a few things to note. Please be aware that these things are not enough to change a 5 star | 10/10 review, but just worth noting. The place was clean upon arrival, but with further inspection, there was a large amount of dust that had collected on the lamps and decorative items. I know that this can happen over time from items being on higher shelves or just things that are sometimes missed, but since a cleaning fee is applied, it would have been more enjoyable to feel like everything had been more thoroughly cleaned. Also, it would have been a nice gesture to let the guest know that the outdoor fireplace it out of use at this time. For some, that may be a selling point for picking this cabin, so when the fire place is out of service, it should be noted to the guest before arrival. The dishwasher did leak on our stay, but we made the office aware and they said they would fix it. Also, the tv in the sleeping area did not work during our stay. There is a DVD player, so if you are someone that likes to watch tv when you try to sleep, I would just recommend packing some of your favorite movies with you :) Other than that, everything was perfect!

We loved the amenities, the secluded location, the interior layout, and the decor. It was a perfect little cabin for a getaway and not too far from Sautee or Helen. We are already planning our next trip!

When we selected the address via maps and allowed directions straight from app, it took us to a different street. Because internet was spotty, and it was already dark, it took about 15 extra minutes to figure out it was two roads over in the area that was still being developed. When I called, the staff were very helpful, but the phone dropped the call before I could confirm the address. It worked out fine, but just note clicking the address and going straight to maps did not work for us. Other than that and no coffee on hand, it was perfect.

We loved every bit of it!
