This house has a great view of Hood Canal and the Olympics. The house is well equipped and the layout is great for families. There are two sitting areas indoors. One of them has cabinets full of games and activities for kids. There are kayaks and life jackets available for use. The kitchen is good sized and well equipped. One review said that it didn't have salt or oil. I found lots of seasonings, oil, and salt. I suspect that some cooking supplies are left behind by other guests. It's a great place and I would love to visit again!

This is our second time staying at this property and just like the first time we enjoyed our stay a lot. Really cute and cozy place that is perfect for our little family. Picture perfect views, wildlife viewing, and lots of tasty oysters.

This is a beautiful little home right on the shore of Hood Canal. The scenery is beautiful, and it was so peaceful to sit on the front porch and watch the water and wildlife. They offered several amenities and things to entertain us. We especially loved kayaking! We would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Just a wonderful location, a view better than any. Happy to have kayaks available, lots of crabs and oysters to observe, and very friendly neighbors. Definitely hope to come back.

What a great little place! It was perfect for our group of 4. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need (except for spices, oils understandably). Updated bathrooms. Comfy beds. The sofa bed was foam mattress and more comfortable than expected. We loved the front porch for coffee/wine chats while watching the water. We had a fire in the fire pit out front. We enjoyed the kayaks on our last day and saw three little sea otters playing on the shore and in the water. Communication with the owner was easy and responses were fast. She was very kind! We all want to come back with our families and/or for another ladies getaway. Thank you so much! We are ready for re-entry to our busy lives. Sorta. ;)

Excellent communication with the owners- the neighbors were great too! The cottage was wonderful. Couldn’t ask for a more convenient and beautiful place on the water. Our 5 year old asked if we could live there forever- I didn’t argue.

My family and I had a great time at this property! Perfect place for the family to relax and enjoy nature. We came on a rainy weekend so didn't get to enjoy the place to its best potential, but I would love to come back during the summer I think it would be a blast. Overall, the place was very clean and check-in was a breeze.

An amazing weekend getaway hanging with my best friend. We went crabbing, ate lots of oysters and enjoyed the quiet and serenity of the neighborhood. A perfect getaway if you enjoy nature and sitting around the fire chatting.

Stayed two night with my two best friends for a girls getaway weekend. Although we had a good time, we were quite disappointed. This place was not at all what we expected. The info, pictures and description was a bit misleading. The fireplace inside was a small electric fireplace, the firepit out side was right next to the road and was a metal pot, the other outside fireplace was nice, but was in front of the house with only a small space to gather around and no view. Just views of neighbors across and next door. The house was not very clean, floors were sticky and had lots of crumbs, etc. The house smelled VERY musty. Poor ventilation when cooking and one window would jam into an open position and was very difficult to get closed without jamming your fingers, dishes that were "clean", were actually quite dirty. Ugh. The house has two showers, which had bugs, spiders and mosquitoes in them. The bar stools are wobbly, furnishings are old. They do not stock you with enough toilet paper, which is awful. For what really was quite pricey/night after adding in all the fees, we were pretty disappointed. Additionally, the layout of the house is very poor. Because, if you want to enjoy the water, you will really end up spending all your time in the small space on the water side of the house. The main living area and dining room are on the main road side of the house, so don't expect to dine with a water view. There are no views from either of the small bedrooms either. Additionally, there is no privacy as the neighbors look over at you. Sorry to say, this was a disappointment to say the least and we will not return. Hope you find this review helpful.

This amazing rental was exactly as advertised and more. Amazing views even better than I anticipated, Alice was super quick to respond and the housekeeping team was amazing. Seriously if i lived closer i would hire them for my own house. Will Definetly be booking here again in the future.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay here in Holly. It is the perfect setting to get away from the city and enjoy time on the water. Our kids were able to learn how to kayak and enjoyed swimming right in front of the house. Everything in the house was exactly as advertised.

My family with 2 adults and 2 kids stayed at the house in Holly for 4 days in June. The location itself is fantastic, at low tide we were able to wade out into the Hood Canal and enjoy lots of sea life. The house is well equipped for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views. We were especially amazed with the amount of activities available at the house, from cornhole to kayaks to a ton of options for the kids, including toys, games, and art. Alice was very responsive to all my questions and it was easy every step of the way. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

The property was clean and very well-maintained, and the location was fantastic. We enjoyed watching seals, heron, and osprey from the porch and had a great time rockhounding, poking around the oyster beds, swimming, and kayaking on the private pebble beach. Our 8- and 5-year-olds were thrilled by the big collection of outdoor and indoor toys and games. It is a bit isolated (which is exactly what we wanted), so plan on packing in food (the kitchen is well-appointed). However, the Camp Union store had the few things we forgot. If you want to explore the area a bit, we'd recommend a hike at Guillemot Cove (about 15 minutes away) and heading up to Point-No-Point (about 50-60 minutes). However, we mainly had a great time just relaxing and playing on the property. A solid 5 stars for our family of 4. Thanks to the owners!

Loved the house - the kitchen! - and yard. Close to the water for easy access. Had everything we needed - hardly needed to dig in to my own supplies at all. Everyone slept comfy and movie night was easy peasy with the pullout couch. Quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors. Great getaway!

Wonderful July trip to the beach. Had everything we needed for 3 nights with our family of 3 (i.e., kayaks, basic kitchen supplies, yard game), and it was a short 15 minute drive to Camp Union for anything we wanted. Host communication was great, neighbors were nice. One of the bathrooms is directly off the kids room, which worked great for us. Other bathroom is in the back of the house, near but not connected to the queen bedroom. We spent all of our time outside. Beach access is across a tiny deadend road that only gets occasional neighbor driving their car/golf cart past, no "real" traffic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at Holly House this weekend. The location is amazing, amenities are as described and is a perfect place to sit back and relax. Just steps from the beach our family enjoyed swimming, kayaking and beach combing. The house has everything you need to just get away. The communication with Alice was quick and accurate. Our kids are already asking when we can go back. We will definitely be visiting Holly House again, hopefully soon.
