Such a friendly family, and great tornado warning buddies! I truly recommend Brown Street Inn, especially for solo roadtrippers like myself. Will definitely be planning a trip to Iowa City in the future just to stay at Brown Street.

Everything about the Inn was wonderful. The hosts were very friendly, the room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the neighborhood was beautiful. The breakfast was simple but delicious.

The breakfast for each day was delicious. Homemade yogurt and muffins were superb.

Christine and Doug were very good hosts. The front porch was a big plus. Breakfast was fine.

It is an older home but Doug and Christine have made it very cosy.

Christine and her partner are fantastic! after a long drive we arrived and they were having a dinner party during which they offered us an amazing homecooked spread. they were so welcoming and accommodating and made our stay so relaxing and wonderful. breakfast was also delicious with homemade yogurt. parking was easy and secure. neighborhood was very cute and safe
