We liked the size of the home and the beautiful grounds.
Outdated furniture, appliances and decor. Spider infestation. The mattresses were very hard in every room. Road to the home was very rough and full of ruts.

The CAVU Mansion on Belleview is in a private setting with circular drive and two car ports. There are very comfortable, private rooms with baths in separate wings of the house. We were 4 people, but the house could easily accommodate 8 or more. Bedrooms, baths, and fully equipped kitchen are newly remodeled. Our bath had a blow dryer. The large living room has a huge flat screen TV and the bedrooms have AC. There is an also a screened porch and well-furnished deck with grill. This is a well, maintained, very clean and welcoming home and only 1 1/2 miles from the Vineyard Haven Ferry! Would love to rent it again.
It wasn't a problem for us, but the house is located on an unpaved road. We actually appreciated the peaceful surroundings without traffic noise.

Although the house was clean and spacious, the combination of fixed outdoor blinds, deficient lightings and really outdated kitchen made our experience very poor. The house is very dark and really not enjoyable to stay in during the day - even worst on a rainy day. Very disappointing, not worth the price. The pictures don’t represent how dark the house really is.

Loved the spacious rooms and bathrooms . Great for a group trip of 8 girls.
Some of the showers didn’t really drain properly and there was one room that was very hot with a weird smell (probably due to rain and humidity)

This is a house with a lot of story and history, we felt very comfortable and fun in it

It was so peaceful and very quiet.
There was plenty of room for each of us to have our own special place in the house.
We had all the basics so we didn't have to shop for household items.
The house was not opened beforehand and it was very musty upon arrival.

Is very spacious big play area great yard.
The lower rooms is a bit cooler at night the plastic shower curtains needs to be changed

Nice space. Loved the backyard and the screened in porch. Great to have so many bathrooms. Nice new grill that worked.
TV randomly shut on and off...over and over again. Coudn't figure out what was going on. Kitchen was pretty dated as was the whole house and very tight on certain things like silverware. One of the bedrooms with twin beds, the sheets were very dirty. They were clearly missed by the cleaners..had to clean ourselves. House was surface clean but a little dusty, buggy.
