The Laingdon is such a beautiful historical hotel with pristine views of the ocean. It has a timeless elegance and yet feels like home. The staff are welcoming, gracious and genuinely caring. They went out of their way to make me feel at home. Bill’s jokes were especially amusing and their family was so warm and friendly.

This place is LOVELY, we are already looking into booking again. The home is STUNNING, location is perfect. Wake in the Am and jump on your bike and get on the boardwalk what a way to start your day. The folks who own this home are LOVELY, very at tentative, kind and accommodating. The ocean views are amazing.

Price for the room was exorbitant. Breakfast was minimal. Shower was minimally functional. Ice machine couldn’t keep up with demand (or broke).

The owners & staff were so helpful giving directions and making restaurant suggestions, when requested. The lobby was welcoming where guests could chat if they chose to do so. Our hosts happily validated our memories of visiting Ocean Grove years ago
The porch on the second floor was a God-send. (Our room was on the fourth floor.) We would stop on the second floor sit out on the porch and enjoy the ocean breeze and view before venturing upstairs to our room that had queen sized, comfortable beds and every amenity we needed
Our stay at the Laingdon was perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy all Ocean Grove had to offer.
Oh, And they made one "Good" cup of morning coffee!!!
I wish there were more 2 individual beds in one room on lower floors. (We made last minute reservations and were really happy there was even one was available!)

The location is great! Walking distance to Asbury Park and downtown Ocean Grove. The bed was a bit stiff, but otherwise we loved our stay.

I thought the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They provided much information about the area and did accommodate my injured ankle by moving us from the 4th floor to the third floor.
The room had a dead bolt that sometimes caught the lock and sometimes didn't. I told the owner and he said he couldn't fix it at the moment but if you slam the door it would catch barely. We weren't able to open one window because the screen was missing.There was no cabinet space under the sink to store toiletries. I felt some of the facilities were showing their age.
The breakfast which they explained ahead of time was a basic continental one so upcoming visitors shouldn't expect any hot items.

Very beautiful B&B across the street from the beach. Beautiful views. Very Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Close to beach boardwalk and very close to Asbury Park restaurants and shops. Downtown Ocean Grove very pleasant tree-lined and quaint with shops and a few places to eat. Great location. We loved it and will return.
Some minor repairs needed to room fixtures due to the age of B&Bs in this older town.

The room had no AC or a window that opened and it was really hot all night. The walls are super thin and we heard the people next to us coughing in the middle of the night. The bed is also very uncomfortable and makes so much noise when you try to stand up, it kept waking up my partner when I got up!!

the property was beautiful so quaint ! the location was the best ever ! located on the ocean . spectacular views . walking distance to shops and asbury!
unfortunately , the bed had a problem it was not level and the bed was much higher in one side that made it really difficult to sleep . also the 1 window in the room was not able to open it snapped back on your fingers .

The location was wonderful. It faces the ocean, just across the street. My room had a balcony overlooking the ocean. It also had a gas fireplace.
Breakfast was meager. Coffee and hot water for tea. Packaged pastries. First day, clementines and slightly bruised bananas. Second day, same choices, but no bananas at all. No juice. For the price of the room, I found breakfast inadequate. The staff were very nice when they were there. No one was there after 6 p.m. or at 8 a.m. when I came to the lobby for breakfast.

Although the room was on the side of the building, we still had a decent sea view. Large bathroom.
Room 3, the ceiling fan didn't work. But the air conditioner compensated quite well. Also, should have an exhaust fan in the bathroom.
