Close to our venue
Not clean, found skittles in the floor and we never brought skittles in!! There was a nail on the stairs in the stairwell that could really hurt someone. The shower door had MOLD in it. There was a neon stain all around the toilet. For almost $200 a night you would at least expect it to be clean. Marriott has really disappointed me in the last few years

Beautiful hotel. Cierra was great at front desk. Bar tender was great! There was an older lady at check out who had the personality of a stump. She wasn’t friendly at all but all other staff we met were Great! Large king room, beautiful bathroom/shower area
Was given bad info on discount for being relative of a college employee. I cities have saved quite a bit! Was given room on parking garage side so was very loud bumping all night of cars going in & out . Expensive to eat at the bar!

The location of the property was excellent. Having LaFayette Park right across the street was a great touch. I was amazed at the variety of great restaurants so close by (Country's BBQ, Trois Cantina, etc.) The property was clean and well-maintained and the room was in excellent condition upon my arrival. The room's desk was an appropriate size for working with a laptop and the chair was excellent.
The breakfast was a little lackluster. Posters around the property advertised a fuller breakfast than was provided. Eggs on toast, avocado, etc. but the hotel ended up offering banana loafs and bagels. There was nothing wrong with them, but it's not the impression that was offered. Front desk staff should make it clear when signing in what "breakfast" is.
The location is also noisy (traffic) and I could overhear telephone conversations in the next room so the walls seem thinner than I've experienced in other hotels.
The only other thing I found lacking was the beds. Maybe it was just the beds in my room, but they were WAY too soft.

Very clean and not far from the Interstate. We arrived late and got a very nice welcome.

The downstairs sitting area nice. Staff great
Sheets on bed had a sour smell like they had been left in wash too long and then dried. This really made difficult to sleep. We arrived so late we were too tired to re locate

Bathroom door dragged on floor; toilet paper holder was broken; toilet seat was loose. I got bitten by something in the bed.

There was no breakfast. Y’all lied about breakfast. We was looking forward to having breakfast. My husband got up around 7:00 to go down & wait for me. When I got up & started to go out the door he was coming back in to let me know about no breakfast. All that money we paid & no breakfast at all. Coffee had to pay for it. That’s was 1 of the reason we stayed at The Marriott & it was husbands birthday. So sad we both was very disappointed.
It could’ve been more towels & wash clothes in room. We had to share towels. I used a lot of towels. Ask desk clerk for towels, but never got any towels or wash clothes. The sheets on bed wasn’t clean. We don’t ask for a double bed. We asked for a Queen sized bed, but we got 2 double bed. We are married celebrating a birthday we didn’t want a double bed for 2. My husband said I was trying to get rid of him.
