We spent a week at this lovely cottage. Set on the road, but still so quiet. Very well equipped. Enjoyed breakfast sitting in the garden each morning. Have stayed in St Agnes twice now, and would definitely return again. Beach a few minutes walk away. Pubs and shops also within walking distance. Hope to return again soon.

Lovely cottage, very close to the beach and beautiful garden!

This cottage is a lovely old building. Thatched roof, low ceilings, cottage garden. Everything you need for your stay. Cosy feeling. A few minutes from the beach, pubs, cafes, shop. The village is 10 mins walk up the bank. Beautiful costal walks. Short drive to Perranporth, Newquay. Overall a good week away. :)

Lovely cottage, very clean and the beds are super comfortable. We were very touched by the flowers, tea, and biscuits to welcome us, thankyou! The enclosed garden is so beautiful; much bigger than expected. We really enjoyed our stay here, just be ready to duck with the low beams if you are tall! Amazing location with great dog walks and a life guarded beach within walking distance. St Agnes is great with cafes, shops, bakery, a pub and an excellent smoothie hut by the beach. We would definitely recommend this cottage 😊

The location in St Agnes was perfect and a really stunning part of Cornwall. All local eateries of a high standard, Tap House was of particular note. Cottage itself could do with a little updating but appreciate this is someone’s home and their taste, just my personal opinion. Of concern was the very musty smell on arrival which we could never quite get rid of despite opening windows, not ideal in winter. Overall a comfortable and well equipped pretty cottage with off-road parking.

Really lovely place with lots of lovely features - perfect family space

Loved staying in the cottage as it was so relaxing being so close to the beach, pubs and restaurants. We left with minor concussion from the low doorways but had everything we needed for our stay. It was lovely and warm inside and the garden was a pleasant surprise although the weather didn’t allow us to use it much.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lantern cottage. The position was perfect for accessing the village and amenities and just a short stroll to the cove. We were extremely comfortable during our stay. The feedback we would like to give you is firstly we thought the kitchen needed to have a work surface near the cooker so that we could serve our food on plates there and also cook more easily. Secondly the parking area had uneven large stones near the front gate which could damage our car tyres. We hope this is helpful. Many thanks
