We had a great stay here, property as described in a great location. The sofa bed isn’t very comfy, but it’s ok for the kids. The communication was difficult getting the keys as the building manager doesn't speak English, but we managed fine. I’d messaged but didn’t get an answer. However, we definitely stay again if in Madrid.

This place was wonderful to stay at. Located just steps away from Sol Square, it's right in the heart of Madrid. Clean, bright and fully stocked with everything you need. Close to restaurants, close to the subway and within walking distance to historic sites and museums and galleries. We were not at all disappointed with our decision to stay here.

The Good Location - close to everything near Puerta del Sol. Excellent shower water pressure. The Bad Unit not as advertised. Not a penthouse apartment but rather a dark studio with a moveable partial room divider separating the bed from the rest of the unit. Entrance to the building is set back, dark and is a gathering place for smokers. Smart TV not connected to the modem, we had to set it up ourselves - should be set up prior to arrival of paying guests. Studio's local contact person provided no instructions other than pointing to the TV, bathroom, and wall control for the heating/air conditioning, most unusual behaviour for a contact person. Host often took days to respond to our questions. Sofa bed has seen better days, was well worn offering little support. Some lamps did not work. Coffee machine was dirty and did not work. Since there is no dishwasher, a plug for the kitchen sink would have been useful. The Hilarious A wand for watering plants, fixed to a wall of the patio, is described as an outdoor shower, really! Overall A disappointment as the VRBO pictures and the written description promised a quality environment. Poor value for money!

We had a five night stay in this apartment with friends, and the place was excellent for three ladies. There was even enough mirrors for getting ready in the mornings at the same time!

Great apartment small but perfectly formed with everything you needed. Very comfortable beds and pillows (which is a rarity) The terrace is fantastic, so good to have a good bit of outside space in the hot weather. Was a lovely spot to wake up or wind down after a busy day wandering the city. I'll be very surprised if we don't return again ! The lady on reception was great very friendly and helpful

If you want to wait 24+ hours for a reply to your communications with the property manager, you really like run-down woodwork and flooring, you're into seeing walls with graffiti as you enter your apartment, and you love OSB plywood painted to look like a bathroom counter top or storage cabinet, then you will love this apartment. By the way, the entrance is between a marijuana shop and a lottery shop.

Excellent location in the heart of the city. The apartment is very well equipped, very quiet, and the AC worked well which was appreciated when the day temperatures went up to 40 Celsius. We were a family with two teens and the sofa bed was quite comfortable! I have already booked this apartment for the next visit too because I love the location and how convenient everything is.

Loved staying at this lovely apartment. It was a perfect location in downtown Madrid. The apartment had all the amenities we needed and more! (AC, washing machine, outdoor space, close to restaurants and metro, walkable)

Stayed for 4 days in the apartment. The bed, pillows, and couch we very comfortable. The TV had access to free movies and local stations. The air conditioning worked really well. The outdoor patio was perfect for meals, lounging, and drying laundry. The bathroom and shower were great, great water pressure in the shower and lots of counter space. The location couldn’t be more central! So many places to eat, shop, etc. and right by the metro line. The kitchen had everything needed to make meals, too. The only issue we had was at check-in. We weren’t told who specifically would meet us once we got to the apartment or where they would be. We waited 30 minutes to gain access to the apartment because we didn’t have the number of the people who checked us in. I would recommend this location.

On our first time in Madrid, we couldn't find a better place to stay. The location is just perfect! Close to restaurant, bars, museums and shopping. The apartment was perfect, clean and they give you everything you can think about it. The building is super clean and safe! And the cherry on the cake, Ana, she works at the building, she was super sweet and helpfull. I give a 5 stars!!!!

This apartment exceeded our expectations. It was clean, fully equipped and conveniently located. The patio was a wonderful bonus.

This is a nice, clean apartment right in the very heart of Madrid. Check in was a little bit confusing. Listing says anytime after 3:30pm but the consierge (a very lovely woman named Ana) takes siesta from 1-4pm so don't show up before 4pm or the front door will be locked. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Close to metro and within walking distance of many of the sites of Madrid. The terraza is lovely and the space is surprisingly quiet given it's location in the city . Would recommend this location without hesitation

This property fit our needs - walking distance to everything, secure, kitchen well stocked with the basics.

The property was amazing. Safe, quietn xlean and with all amenities. However it is very difficult to find with no signage or prior instructions even after i had written to the property manager 5 days before arriving. Spent iver an hour in the dark trying to find the plane after a 18 hr journey. Had to turn on data to call the manager who did not speak English. He sent me directions via txt to the property and to the keys hidden in a flower pot!

Enjoyed our stay in Madrid! The apartment was great, clean, well-stocked. Excellent location, close to Metro. The outside deck is amazing, wanted to sit out there every morning and evening with my coffee or a glass of wine. Anna, the apartment manager (on site) was so wonderful and helpful!

Great apartment for walking around Madrid

A great apartment, fabulous outside space for central Madrid, great location

This VRBO was really the perfect place. You are literally steps from bars, restaurants and historical sites. The terrace was wonderful and you could hear live music and nightlife from your private area. Everything was clean and worked well. Just perfect.

Great apartment at a reasonable price. Was not brand new but I feel like the price reflected that. We were one block from the metro and in the heart of Madrid tapas bars and clubs. Really quiet in the apartment even though the neighborhood was buzzing with activity. Comfortable beds. A few things needed updating but again a great overall value. Would definitely stay again.

I cannot say enough good things about Rufino’s place! It is very comfortable, extremely well stocked, and steps away from the train and subway. We especially enjoyed the patio and the quiet and felt very secure. There are books, travel and sewing materials; he has thought of everything. You can’t go wrong staying here.

The outside area was great as we had a couple of sunny days so after sightseeing we sat in the sunshine. Apartment had all we needed for our 4 night stay and the bed was comfortable with lots of hanging space and storage.

This property is just down the block from the metro station. There are huge crowds just outside enjoying the myriad of restaurants and bars well into the night. Inside it is cozy and quiet. The apartment has all necessary supplies and a huge rooftop patio.

Us three women had a wonderful few days in Madrid to see the city for the first time and to celebrate International Women's Day.The flat was perfect for our needs and was comfortable and clean.Great shower,comfy beds, and an amazing outdoor space,and so central! Ana the concierge was so friendly and helpful.Can' t wait to come back next year! Thanks from all of us from Glasgow.

This apartment was absolutely perfect! It's in a phenomenal location for exploring Madrid. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, the shower is amazing (great pressure and nice and hot!), the heating works really well, great TV with Netflix!, internet - everything you could want!

Wow! Incredibly stylish apartment in an awesome location! Just a few steps away from Sol Plaza, where there is unbelievable activity! The Metro is merely 100 yards away! La Mallorquina and Chocolateria San Gines famous Churros are a short distance away. Tons of good places to eat and drink just outside the front entrance. Beautiful Apt, the Host has provided just about everything you could need. Heard absolutely none of the noise from the high energy in the Plaza! My only complaint is the shower drain needs attention. Slow drains are no bueno. I'm disappointed I didn't go in the Spring or Summer to enjoy the weather on the spacious Deck! Communication could be better, slow responding at times. Ana is very sweet, but communication was tricky. English is more prevalent in Barcelona, but I don't fault the Madrilenos, I need to learn Spanish for future visits.
