First of all booking.com does not know that fernie lodging company totally changed my booking . They double charge me for both properties

Great place, lots of room and beds. Wonderful mountain to ski and close drive.

There was a very thick slab of unavoidable ice at the front entrance. Very tricky to get over and three of us slipped after coming home from skiing. The one broke several ribs. I can’t imagine if someone with mobility issues had rented it.

Well equipped, nice hot tub, very comfortable beds. Great space for family with older children.

Self check out required keys to be dropped back to the main lodge and instructions were not clear that this was necessary. No one answered the phone outside of their business hours to clarify this.

Location is very spacious and comfortable.

Booking was a little extensive, more so than booking a hotel room

Unit size and layout perfect for 2 families, very clean hot tub, kitchen very well equipped with dishes, pans, baking sheets, coffee machine, etc. Having the garage to store bikes was great. Check-in host helpfully delivered a replacement key when our second key didn't work.

Picking the keys up on the ski hill isn't very convenient for Pinnacle Ridge - a lock box or key code would be better. Barbecue was filthy, so we cleaned it. And then discovered there was no gas in either the installed or spare propane cylinder, which somewhat wrecked our dinner plans. No tin foil or paper towel, oven gloves had hidden holes in them. I won't repeat what I said when I burned my hand! Garage floor filthy, and while sinks and toilets, etc. were clean, the place hadn't been dusted or well-vacuumed in a while.
