The bathroom was newly updated and the towels and linens were clean. The owners were very nice people. They are trying to update as they can. Nice refrigerator and microwave units in room.

The bed mattress was older and firm. The carpet was worn. However, we cranked up the AC and slept soundly.

It is an older motel, but it's very clean and bed was comfortable. It's right across from The Abbey, so the locations was super convenient.

The Travel Inn Motel offers a great value for the dollar. The room was spotless, the beds were very comfortable with nice bedding, and four substantial pillows for each bed. The off-street parking was right outside the room, very well lit, and secure. The location of the Travel Inn Motel is wonderful for travelers riding the Royal Gorge Route Railroad. The Travel Inn Motel offers a better experience than many motels/ hotels charging twice as much.

The only complaint was very little hot water in the shower.

Clean, comfy & very reasonably price! The picnic area was really nice in the evening to sit outside & enjoy the mountain view. Husband liked not having to carry our luggage too far. I was pleasantly suprised how quiet it was!
