A lovely place to stay for a relaxing break. Everything you need is there. Mark and Shaun are perfect hosts. A lovely welcome and a few surprises.

Sad they are retiring from the property at the end of August. We wish them well with their next adventure.

We were 6 adults and 3 children (ages 10-67). We stayed at Wagon Barn 1st week of July 2023. Weather was mixed but there was plenty to keep us occupied - the heated outdoor pool, hot tub and bar were ideal. A large minibus/taxi into Wembdon was about £15 but we’d recommend having a car to explore Cannington, Cheddar and other places nearby. We had several really great days just lazing by the pool, having barbecues, and enjoying the property. We loved the plum and apple trees, the resident squirrel, the many sun traps and outside eating area. The large dining room was great for posh family meals; the nearby pizza takeaway place was a highlight (“what’s up duck” and “completely carnivore” we’re especially delicious. We made good use of the ample fridge space and found the livingroom perfect for watching Wimbledon together. The wi-if signal was unreliable but is enough to get by for most low-speed purposes. The narrow windy roads were charming and picturesque but the absence of any verge or pavement made outdoor walks with children less appealing (not a problem if you have a car). We loved our week at wagon barn and really did not want to leave.

An excellent stay at an excellent property. It was just like a home from home - warm and welcoming with none of the clinical sparseness that is so often evident in holiday rental properties. There was an abundance of everything that you could possibly need and the property was spotlessly clean. The pool and hot tub were both a good size and heated to a very comfortable temperature. An all round excellent experience. Mark and Shaun were as warm and welcoming as their lovely property and nothing was too much trouble. The "Welcome pack" they provided was the best I have ever known! The whole family (6 adults and 3 children) had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend staying here.

Mark and Shaun are wonderful, helpful hosts and have clearly invested a lot of time into creating a fantastic holiday experience. Absolutely Fabulous
We have just enjoyed a lovely stay at this fabulous property. From the moment I booked it until the moment we left we were looked after. Mark and Shaun were wonderful hosts - nothing was too much trouble. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

Family Vacation
Excellent week at Wagon Barn. Mark & Shaun are great hosts and the barn is maintained to a very high standard. The wonderful outdoor pool made the holiday for us as the weather was fantastic.

This place is amazing. Honestly - they could charge double for what you get and it’d still be good value for money. The rooms are big, clean and luxurious. And the pool and hot tub area is brilliant - we spent hours in there. Loads of parking and a big lawn that we didn’t get round to using. Definitely coming back at some point!

Wow!
We had an amazing stay at Wagon Barn . 9 of us stayed , there was plenty of room, inside and outside. Mark and Sean were so helpful , from start to finish and were on hand if we needed anything.
The house was spotless and well equipped with everything you need. Lovely touches like fresh bread, cheese , butter and bottles of fizz were waiting for us. The pool area with bar , bbq and hot tub made the holiday for us, and because the pool is heated we used it even when the weather wasn’t so good.
We booked for next year before we left . Highly recommend theWagon Barn , we can’t wait to go back.

There were 9 in our group for the first week and we all had plenty of space in very comfortable surroundings . The little extras such as cream tea on arrival with prosecco was most enjoyed as were the brownies for our second week. Additions such as pool towels, household items and lovely bathroom products were much appreciated as were the freshly laid eggs.
The gardens and surroundings are beautiful and the warm pool , hot tub and bar were a real hit and used everyday.
Mark and Shaun couldn't have done more to make us welcome and were on hand if we needed anything. They have created a very beautiful ,tranquil and peaceful environment and it was great to spend lazy days enjoying the great facilities.
We hope to return again soon.

Super House and Great Hosts
We had another lovely stay at Wagon Barn. The large house is great for a big group. The garden, pool, hot tub and pool bar are fantastic and really make the holiday regardless of the weather. Mark and Shaun are great hosts and very attentive and helpful. The treats on arrival are so very appreciated as are the stocks of household products like handwash, toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc.

This really was a fantastic holiday with everything we could have possibly needed. From the thoughtful cream tea and prosecco provided upon arrival to ensuring we had all we needed throughout. Would reccommend without reservation for a fantastic break!

5 star rating for 5 star property
What a wonderful place to stay. Easy directions to follow although postcode leaves you just short of property a covering message was sent by hosts on how to find house. A warm welcome by hosts Sean and Mark who explained everything. although they were unable to show us physically around the house everything was as described on the website. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the welcome pack of fizz and cream tea went down well. The accommodation was clean and tidy and plenty of hand sanitzer and hand wash throughout the house and by the pool/bar area. Had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing week. Although only 4 of us the property can easily house 9 and still have plenty of space. Thank you Mark and Sean for letting us share your house.

Had a lovely week in the wagon barn, prob the best heated pool we have ever had - amazingly warm. Loads of space in the house and lovely surroundings. Very thoughtful hosts with welcome packs/goodies and essentials - would absolutely recommend.

Great for families and groups
Something for everyone. Lovely heated pool (safely fenced off) with seating for us to catch some sun. Great garden with room for children to run around and plenty of peaceful shady spots under trees. Spacious, clean, and well equipped house. No shortage of fridge space as there are 2 fridges and 2 freezers. Plenty of seating and 2 TVs in living room and snug. Master bedroom en suite is big and comfortable. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. Had a wonderful week....

Lovely property that was finished to a very good standard. Fantastic pool and garden and in a wonderfully quiet spot. Lots of rooms both upstairs and down which meant it was great for entertaining a large number of people. Great communication with the hosts

Excellent Choice for Somerset Family Holiday
We received a warm & friendly welcome and the property was spotlessly clean on arrival. The property is spacious and most comfortable; the pool, hot tub & bar area is well maintained and the water warm & inviting even on a wet day. The children especially loved it! Mark & Shaun are excellent hosts and we have no hesitation in unreservedly recommending Wagon Barn as a holiday destination. Many thanks for many happy memories!

The best week EVER....
From arrival to driving off we had a fabulous time at Wagon Barn. Mark and Shaun could not have been more welcoming and the house and grounds exceeded all of our expectations. The adults were happy, the 8 year old was happy. We couldn’t have asked for more and we plan to return.
