This review is only for our host Caroline, who was very kind, even though we were not able to make it to the rental unit. We booked this quite late because we decided use TAP Airlines stopover in Lisbon option and rent a car to drive down to the Algarve. Well, TAP cancelled multiple flights and delayed several others so we never made it out of Lisbon before needing to catch our connecting flight. Caroline was very responsive and even offered to move our entire reservation a few days to the right at no charge if that would allow us to visit. We didn't make it, but the offer was gracious and I would recommend working with her.

Well equipped property with great view from the terrace. Easy walking distance from the harbour and local restaurants. Everything was spotless, the shower was powerful and roomy and quality towels provided. The stairs are steep and require a little caution. Parking not always possible outside the property but loads of parking down by the harbour a couple of minutes walk away

No complaints at all, it is ideally situated and we had a lovely time there. We will return and definitely recommend staying in this property.

Great location! Close to everything.

We stayed in this townhouse for 12 nights mid September 2022. The unit was very clean and well appointed: fully stocked kitchen, washer dryer combo, iron, beach umbrellas, and beach towels. There is a small bathroom on the main floor behind the kitchen which is very convenient. The bedroom on the second floor has a king size bed, a wall of storage space, and a small bathroom but large shower. The third floor has a tv and couch with the main attraction being the balcony - small table and chairs, two lounging chairs and an awning. The view from there is spectacular! The marina, the beach, and amazing sunsets! The unit is a 10 min walk to the beach, minutes to restaurants and grocery shops. Our contact Alice was very friendly and always available and responsive when we had questions. Overall an incredible place to stay! The only drawback for some may be the number of stairs as it’s located on 3 levels.

A great town house in the heart of Alvor with a sun facing balcony terrace. Everything we needed was here for us including a fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom and great views over Alvor. Alice made contact in advance and was there to meet us on arrival. Loved our stay, both being in the heart of Alvor and with easy access to the fantastic boardwalk and beach. We were able to park our car close to the property which made transport easy.

The view from the terrace is absolutely wonderful. Great central location . Host Marta is the best!

Compact accommodation in a very handy position for all amenities. Comfortable with everything in the house you might need during your stay. Well recommended .

Absolutely love this place, has everything including perfect views, comfy bed, beautifully clean, so near to shops, restaurants and the Harbour, what more could you ask for, Marta the Manager is a great addition, so friendly and welcoming, she just couldn’t do enough for us and so knowledgeable about the area and places to visit,

an ideal property for a couple as long as you have no mobility issues as the stairs are quite steep ... centrally located and handy for everything in the town and the promenade ... beach five/ten minutes stroll away ... balcony at top is the ideal place to chill and read a book or nine ... property well fitted out and supplied with pretty much all you would/could need even including brollies for use at the beach ... marta was very helpful and quick to respond when required ... would certainly book again if available when we next visit Alvor ... recommended.

The owners Helan and Neil were very helpful and met us at the property, the property was well laid out and very clean with everything you could need, the views from the living room terrace over the harbour and the sunset over Lagos is something you never get tired of, the property is perfectly located only a matter of minutes walk from the shops bars and restaurants but just far enough away for you not to be disturbed by any noise, we would have no hesitation on returning to Alvor and this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was our 2nd time in Alvor and we’ll definitely be back. The house is in a great location if you like to live amongst the locals. And the view from the top balcony is as perfect as all the reviews say. Would highly recommend.

Excellent location near bars and shops but just out of ear-shot. Property is beautifully appointed and they have forgotten nothing. Mind you don't bump your head on the cooker hood!

Nicely renovated property in Alvor, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Fantastic views of Alvor from the terrace and the perfect spot for enjoying the sunset. House has everything needed for a self catering holiday and is located perfectly to balance being in the heart of Alvor with a quiet and relaxing location. Alvor is a lovely town to visit and this property is a great place to stay to enjoy it. Helen and Neil were great in supporting us in advance of our stay and meeting us at the property.

We had a 2 week stay in August - the high season. Great location with great views and close to the center and the beach. The house is small but for 2 people just fine, clean and well equipped. Helen and Niel - house management, welcomes on arrival and can guide one just about anything. Great panoramic views over the sea and the harbor where there in high season (august) at evenings is a small scene with different performances of music. We quickly became familiar with the three floors and the stairs, always something with ups and downs - a basket could have been beneficial. We will especially look back at the beautiful times on the balcony - breakfast at the start of the day and evening with lights from fishing boats, Lagos and the lighthouse at Ponta da Piedade, quiet and relaxing - wonderful enjoyment . We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely return.

Our stay here has been a truly wonderful. A stunning house with everything we needed. A panoramic view of the harbor and miles of blue ocean is so beautiful. The deck/patio is amazing and we enjoyed our time and sunsets there. The double bed is a big massive “treat”, it has to be the very best bed in Alvor . It’s a perfect place, and a perfect holiday house. We loved it, and will be back!!

What else can we write that hasn't already been said about this beautiful "home away from home." Except to state that, as retirees, over the past 20 years we have travelled to seven continents and visited more than 80 countries. 26B has impressed us so much , we are booking another five weeks to come back the same time next year. This is a great house to stay in for the views, however the stairs become tiresome after a while if you want to eat on the top balcony! Very convenient for restaurants and shops.

We had great 2 week stay.The house is perfectly situated with great views over the harbour,a good big comfy bed.The house is very well eguiped with everything you need. The only complaint we had was the lovely big 55 inch TV didnt'work. We don't go our holidays to watch TV but we like to catch up with the news. We think the WiFi is needing updated.

Stairs in the property are a little concerning, internet was never working well. Very clean, well equiped with all essentials. Nice view from the very top of balcony. Kitchen area small.

We had a really wonderful time, everything was so easy to get to, fantastic restaurants within minutes walk. The beach was beautiful and almost empty. The house has everything you could possible need. As other people have commented the local dogs are a bit of a pain with their barking but being on holiday you just turned over and went back to sleep. Would like to book same week next year if possible just need to wait for Jet2 flight days for next year when they are released . Thank you also for organizing the taxi's. A well equipped and very comfortable little house with an amazing, and constantly changing, view of the harbour and estuary. It’s in a nice quiet area but still very close to everything I needed. Walking distance to supermarket, beach and loads of restaurants. Definitely a property I would return to.

Lovely house, well equipped kitchen, great location - close to restaurants/bars, lovely views from terrace, big comfy bed, nice shower/bathroom, TV/Wi-Fi good. Shame about the barking dogs, but I guess there's not much that can be done about that. Stairs a little daunting, maybe not suitable for the elderly However, definitely recommend. Maggie & Phil
