Loved this place….house had everything we needed….the owners are great and provided spot-on info about the area for first timers like us….it was just perfect

We loved all the amenities especially the private pool. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend and hope to return some day.

The house accommodated our three families very comfortably. Everyone had their own space. It had everything we needed and was beautiful. I highly recommend it.

Very nice home. Place was clean and well maintained. The only think I would have liked there to have been a few more large bath towels. Very minor issue. We made do with what we had.

First off the owners were amazing! The house was perfect for our group. Had everything you could think of. The heated pool was great. Location couldn’t have been better. Truly a fisherman’s paradise!! Thank you for an amazing vacation!!!

We were celebrating my husbands 40th. Everything about this property was great. So very clean and well appointed. Close to everything in Islamorada. We had such a great time we will be back again.

Had a great week with Grandma, Papa, and our 2 kids (6 & 8). Pool was warm and shaded so plenty of all day swimming without tons of sunscreen. All the comforts of home ammeneties readily available and the porches were made for coffee/cocktails. Very quiet neighborhood but nightlife and great food options 5 minute drive away. Thanks for a awesome stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed this home! Very clean and such a great location! The manatees were residents at our dock, fishing, boating, swimming and soaking it all in! Thanks for a great spot to experience the Keys!

We had a wonderful time! House and property were amazing, perfect for our family spring break. The pool (backyard oasis!) was definitely the highlight. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing, Incredibly responsive hosts -- immediately addressed problems (even after one issue went away, they still sent someone to be sure) and super communication.Best stocked house EVER. We mistakenly thought both guest bedrooms were somehow next to one another with a shared bathroom between them (description didn't clarify no bathroom for the third guest bedroom / on a different floor). If you have kids and/or only two adult couples staying then you are set!! Three couples were an issue (for us).No door to 3rd floor upstairs master made it rather loud upstairs as a result. Remote working, one of us had to go to the lower level and the other on top level for Zoom calls because you can hear everything on top floor without a door to close. No sun on pool area as someone else in reviews noted, but we were there to work, so not a big deal. Few other minor issues but immediately resolved.House overall was lovely and we'd recommend for a couple or family with kids who can bunk in lower level. Thanks!!

We spent xmas and new years in this beautiful property, the house was amazing , well equipped with everything u could think u needed ! The views were amazing , the pool , the landscaping, everything was perfect ! John & Robin were wonderful hosts , check in on us and were very helpful and nice ! We stayed in John & Robin's wonderful home the first week of January and we highly recommend it. We have stayed in vacation rentals for about 15 years now in the US and elsewhere, and we honestly felt that this was our best experience yet. The home is tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable, has modern appointments while maintaining it's Florida beach home charm, and has everything you need to enjoy your stay completely. John and Robin were easy to reach and very friendly. They had helpful recommendations about the house and the area and answered our questions almost immediately. They were obviously interested in making sure we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. John provided us with all kinds of recommendations on things to do in the Keys, and in Miami. The home sits on a channel and a lovely, safe and quiet street, about a half block from the ocean. The pool is brand new, fairly large and heated. Beds are very comfortable, and with living space on three levels, it offers a lot of privacy if you need it. We loved the spacious balconies overlooking the channel and pool, with Adirondack chairs to relax in. We also LOVED the fab porch swing chair on the pool level. There was even a commercial ice machine in the garage! The owners offered three kayaks, bikes, and other toys to enjoy with family or friends. We used the kayaks one day and we were out on the ocean in two minutes - beautiful! The home was spotless, and the kitchen well appointed with all we needed to cook and enjoy dinner on the patio by the pool. There are fish markets galore in the area, so on a number of days we picked up fresh fish or seafood and cooked at the house. The patio had very comfortable seating and tables, along with a gas grill that we used one night. All of the furnishings, inside and out, were high quality. Manatees swam up to the pier on a couple of occasions while we were there. We enjoyed walks in the early evenings as there is a nice long trail about a block away. Stores and restaurants are minutes away, including a couple of nice venues where you can have cocktails and watch the sunset from the beach. We hated leaving and would return to this amazing home in a heartbeat!

Beautiful, clean, excellent spot. Short paddle down canal to ocean. Manatees in canal every day. Nice place to dock boat. Nice pool. Very helpful owners. Really felt like home away from home. Only complaint is not enough sun at pool — prob b/c time of year — but I guess you can’t move the sun!

Family of 5 had space and ability to spread out and come and go throughout the week from boat or car and do all the things we planned from this beautiful house and well placed location from all our plans north and south in the keys. Highly recommend it! We will return again some time....

I do not typically leave reviews, but I knew I no had to give credit for this place! Amazing location, warm pool, manatees in the canal, commercial ice machine in the garage, super comfy beds, and any type of kitchen utensil or type of entertainment you could want! The restaurant recommendations they gave were perfect. The owners were in touch with us throughout our stay, ensuring everything was going well. I have never experienced that before! It was an excellent personalized touch that made us feel at home and like the owners really cared about our stay as if we were their close friends. We will be back!

The house is impeccably kept, stocked and newly renovated! The hosts are wonderful to deal with, very responsive. couldn't be more pleased with our choice to stay there for the week! Be prepared to get your stair steps in!! We even got to provide a manatee with fresh water from the dock hose! Thanks John and Robin!

We had an amazing time at Tarpon Bay. This is a wonderful, beautiful home with every amenity imaginable! Owners are terrific and left extensive information on the area restaurants and things to do.

We have an awesome week lobstering and fishing in Islamorada and absolutely loved Tarpon Bay! The house was immaculate and stocked with everything imaginable. The new gorgeous pool was an added bonus and much appreciated after long days in the saltwater. John was an exceptional host and we look forward to staying there on our next trip down!

Very clean. I have never stayed in a house so clean. Great weather, good fishing,kayaking was awesome,great place to relax and enjoy the week. Got to see Chester the manatee, he enjoyed the fresh water as we cleaned the boat after a great day of fishing. Was perfect for our family of 9. Great freezer for bait and ice.

Really enjoyed our stay at your home. We flew in from Phoenix and your home had everything we needed. It was like staying at a friends house. We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years and yours was top notch. My son enjoyed all of the great fishing down here in the keys, while I enjoyed meeting two of the Manatees. For me seeing the manatees was one of the highlights of my trip.

We’ve been renting in the keys for 10 summers now. This is the first home that we’ve stayed in that felt like “home”. No other way I can describe it than that. From the types of cleaners/soaps to the furniture/appliances to the comfort of the beds. It all felt like what we have at home. That’s a nice feeling. The home is beautiful, very clean, and everything looks new. All of the appliances are top of the line. We enjoyed the kayaks and saw lots of nurse sharks, stingrays, lobsters, and various fish around the mangroves outside of the canal. The boat dock had plenty of room for our 27’ boat. Peak low tide can put you close to rocks at the entrance of the canal, so we just timed our departures/arrivals with the tides in mind. We have a 40’ boat trailer that fit in front of the house with very little maneuvering and still left room for two vehicles. We were close to all of the spots that we like to frequent for scuba diving, fishing, and lobstering. Owners were easy to contact and replied to messages right away. The house is very close to Robbie’s, Bud n Mary’s, and Publix. It really was perfect! We would definitely recommend it and we look forward to staying there again!

My husband and I took our children here for spring break!!! All I can say is WOW!!!! Kayaks, hammock, cloth type swing( kids loved it). House is completely updated, kitchen was fully supplied with any baking item you would need. My children and I were able to bake a three layer cake even! I was shocked to actually find three circle pans. Smart TVs made watching favorite Netflix shows easy! HUGE back yard with boat access. We rented a 29’ boat for the week and zero issues fitting into the slip. The garage had a HUGE deep freezer , allowing for plenty of room for multiple bags of ice. All of the mattress in every single room, were BEYOND comfortable. The showers had removable spray head as well as a rain head .... water pressure was incredible... All I can say to anyone looking to stay at a great place, you will never regret renting this place! Worth every penny. We truly didn’t want to leave.

We spent our Spring break in this home and had an wonderful time! The home exceeded our expectations! It is loaded with amenities and is super clean! The owners are very responsive and provided a lot of helpful information. We highly recommend this property!

This home is just beautiful. Appointed with gorgeous furnishings and all the comforts of home. Our daughter has Celiac Disease so we do a lot of cooking at home. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need to cook a wonderful meal. We visited in July and rented a boat which we were able to dock right on the property. Location is perfect, close to many great snorkeling spots (Alligator Reef, Chica Rocks and Hens and Chickens). Owners were very accommodating to our vacation schedule. We had a wonderful and relaxing trip...a great escape from the fast paced life in the DC area. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) and the home was the perfect size, allowing space for everyone. We would highly recommend this rental home and would surely stay there again.

The kitchen has everything you need to entertain or make family dinners for all to remember. The house is very tastefully decorated and has a very warm and welcoming appeal! The bedrooms and bathrooms are fantastic and allow for complete comfort! There are beautiful patios and decks all around with lots of easy access and plenty of room for lounging, dining, reading a book or just catching some rays. The location is excellent. Just off the highway and to the southern end of Islamorada - very easy to find. The house is on a canal and the available Kayaks really make it awesome! We were able to kayak from the canal very easily into the ocean and cruise thru the various bays watching all kinds of sea life. Rays, nurse sharks, sponges, coral, pelicans, anhingas, and many more! We did not bring a boat but the dock on the canal is excellent and allows for easy access to your boat and the fishing of a lifetime! The location allows for easy access to many locations. We chose to visit the Everglades National Park and Key West! Our goal was to hit all 3 National Parks but the weather while we were there and not making boat reservations in time didn't permit. If we return to get the other 2 Parks, we will absolutely want to stay here again! John and Robin are very gracious hosts! Always making sure that all is okay and you have all the information and items that you will need. They put together a little list of their favorites that quickly became ours too! They really go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay! We traveled as a family - 4 of us. 2 teens and 2 parents. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the trip and really appreciate John and Robin's efforts to make our Keys Spring Break an excellent one! We look forward to possibly returning to this amazing house!

We had to change travel plans very last minute (pregnancy & zika virus related) and came across this place online. Thankfully they were still open, and we booked super quick! John & Robin are incredibly responsive, super kind, and extremely helpful. During our stay if we had a question, John answered immediately. The house was absolutely GORGEOUS! Every room was very clean, and the amenities in the house were super helpful. We were even able to do some laundry before we left! They have everything you'd need to cook a few nice meals in, which we really enjoyed. The kayaks were also really fun, and my husband particularly loved taking them out to the ocean to fish! My favorite part of the house was probably the serene decks overlooking the canal, where I spent each morning reading, eating breakfast, and enjoying my coffee!
