Our seaview was amazing! We loved looking out our "window doors" at the view below and in the distance of the sea and lapping waves on the shoreline. The small balcony was just right for sitting on our chairs and gazing ahead. We were so impressed with our accommodation that we immediately stayed another day. Also our hosts were very, very warm and helpful. We ate both our dinners at the Locanda and wonderful seafood dinners! We highly recommend the Locanda. We plan to return!

Stunning location and warm helpful staff made our short stay extra special. I truly wish we had more time and flexibility. I highly recommend the trip!

Location and view were fantastic. Staff very friendly and obliging, nice informal atmosphere. Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. We did not expect, or want, a luxury hotel, but we really enjoyed our stay here.

The lovely ancient streets leading to the hotel are poorly signed and narrow: if you bring your Chelsea tractor down here you may not get it out! But parking a few streets away is very easy, at least in low season; we walked the last bit on foot (with Satnav). The proprietors are very willing to drive your small car to and from the hotel for you, if you want.

Maria (the owner/manager) was extremely helpful in every respect. The hotel is in a unique position in the heart of the old town. It has an excellent restaurant and a separate and equally good pizza restaurant - great slow food and good fast food too!

Access by car is a challenge - narrow streets with few passing places and closed to vehicles after 7pm. However, Maria or her father will drive you in and out of the old town and show you the free parking areas 5 to 10 minutes walk to the hotel.
