Beautiful room with terrace

The hotel is a gem! Beautiful location, grounds, impeccable service, everything you can ask for and more. The rooms are so comfortable, chic, fab views all around the property, great restaurant on site, pool, lounge area, etc.

Nice and cosy little hotel witha a very good restaurant.

Location was quite convenient. That's about all that was favorable about this hotel.

We booked, confirmation 3601-984-952, a Premium Double Room with air conditioning, Balcony or terrace, garden view, satellite channels on TV, wake up call and other nice amenities. The air conditioning didn't work with temperatures of up to 105 degrees, there were no English-speaking channels on TV, the phone didn't work, and shower soap that produced no lather. We reported all these issues to the Director/Owner and all he suggested is to move out. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available in the area. We sweated through three nights and paid $700 for the "pleasure". Our room, shown in the picture below with the closed window, overlooked the parking area for the Property Manager and the dog kennel. No garden, balcony or terrace. The Manager came and went during the night and opened the noisy garage door, immediately beneath our bed. The dog barked during the night and no one attempted to quiet it. We were unable to contact the office by phone because the phone didn't work. To top it off, the gate didn't open on approach so we had to walk to the office and ask for exit. Altogether, a completely miserable experience.

Located a short drive from Gordes, Hôtel Carcarille provides a great base to visit Gordes and to explore the surrounding area. The hotel is on scenic grounds with a lovely swimming pool. The room was on the small side but comfortable. (We skipped on breakfast.) Gordes is a uniquely beautiful village but accommodations in Gordes and immediately near it are limited an expensive. Hôtel Carcarille is a great alternative and, if we return to Gordes, we will return here, too.

Breakfast was excellent. The hotel exceeded my expectations and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed for three nights. The dinner was excellent every evening and our room was very comfortable.

Very nice and spacious room with a terasse to sit outside in the sun. Good outside and inside furniture. Good parking facilities. Very clean and large bathroom. Note this was room 21 and the end of the corridor.

We were there in november to do hiking and biking. As it was already dark early (around 17.30) we would like to have dinner more early than the 19.30 opening time of the restaurant.
