The hotel was lovely and in an excellent location. We had a family room which consisted of two bedrooms, a small bathroom, sitting area, balcony (with clothes drying rack), and small well-equipped kitchen which was perfect for our needs. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Our room was right next to a night club which played loud music until 4:00am. This did not seem to bother our teenage daughters, but made for difficult sleeping for myself and my husband. I don't think this would be an issue for most rooms- just the ones sharing the wall with the club. Parking was available in a nearby lot, however, it took us a while to find a spot upon our arrival as it was a busy night in town.

Location.
Sadly neglected, lots of things were broken. We gad booked a suite with balcony 9 months in advance. At the hotel they tried to get us in a room with no balcony! They had gotten better paying guests evidently! We got one day free breakfast for this! After debating we got three days breakfast. The day after we got a room with balcony( you had to stand up to see anything) but this was no suite! Just a double room!
A smoking neighbour that made us avoid the balcony and a disco nereby isnt the hotels fault but it didnt make things better!

We liked the location of the hotel. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the harbor so the view was outstanding.
The room was a little small but comfortable. The bathroom was also small.

It was better then i expected. The view from my room it was absolutely stunning. The room was so nice and for a very good price. The bed is really good. The woman from the reception she was so nice and kind. I will definitely visit again for a crete winter holiday.

The staff were amazing and a bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. The
location was very convenient.
The hotel is in a very noisy disco club area and along a main road which was noisy until late in the night. There didn’t seem to be much soundproofing. The bathroom toilet needs some maintenance, toilet seat coming off, cracked sink and sewage smell.

From the moment we walked into this little gem of a hotel, we knew we had made the right decision.
- The location was perfect
- The design is luxurious and tasteful
- We were greeted with cool sparkling drinks
and Damos was beyond hospitable— the best host we’ve had in Greece.

Beautiful boutique hotel / suites right in the port of Ag. Nikolaos. Very polite and helpful stuff! The room (4 person suite) was comfy and big. Enjoyed the old Venetian feeling of the hotel.
The hotel could consider offering in-house breakfast. There is no lift to the reception or to the rooms, but several stairs, which might be inconvenient for some.

A very nice building in the heart of the town, overlooking the lake and the port in Agios Nikolaos. The room was a great size, and came with everything you expect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering tips and information only locals could know. The best feature though was the breathtaking view from our balcony - honestly I think the best view in Agios Nikolaos.

We loved this hotel!. So much effort, imagination and detail reflects the age of this beautiful building whilst still providing all personal and modern needs. From the grand entrance, to the room decor and lighting, plus the changing views from the balcony both day and night, this was our favourite hotel having travelled throughout fascinating Crete.
The bathroom was a bit small but cannot be made any bigger so it was totally acceptable!

Small, clean hotel at a great location in Agios Nikolaus. Our room was big and comfortable.
We booked the family Suite which was very big and confortable but it did lack natural light in the living room (no windows and dark). Also the small terrace was shared with two other rooms

absolutely not the properties fault but a bar next door played ridiculously loud music til 5am.

Absolutely superb location overlooking the harbour and lake. Our room was in fact a spacious mini-apartment with large bedroom, separate sitting room and decent balcony. Clean and comfortable - we loved it. Free public parking about 150 metres away.
A bit hard to find - look for the steps up from the street. Lots of steps to room and no lift, but back entrance cut lots of these out. A noisy area of town but sound insulation very good.

Fridge was in the bedroom, when there was a better space for it in the living area
Shower had no power and not very hot

some attention to detail needed - small maintenance issues like broken soap holder large mr overhead shower head not working (only hand held but good pressure ) plastic toilet seat needed tightening and scruffy side entrance old pieces of furniture there - noisy at night time as night club nearby could hear noise from bars and lake until around 3.30 am and this was end of march -we bought ear plugs

Excellent location. friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed.
Loud thumping music from 1-5am from nearby club, and the walls are so thin you can hear every sound from the adjoining rooms.
