Appartement duplex très agréable en famille. Petit balcon très apprécié. On y a passé un très agréable séjour. Quel bonheur d'avoir 3-4 chambres !

Nous avons passé 1 semaine à 7 personnes dans l'appartement qui est spacieux . L'appartement de Paul est très bien situé car desservi par des transport en navette toutes les 20 min Point d'amélioration que nous proposons : la literie qui n'était pas assez dure à notre goût. Quelques petits ajustements de nettoyage à notre arrivée également ont du être fait. Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité de Paul par message pour répondre à toutes nos questions je recommande vivement de venir passer vos vacances à la montagne chez lui !

Vraiment rien a dire. Mr Challis est disponible, très réactif, propreté impeccable. Petit cadeau à l’arrivé, on reviendra.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans l apparemment très spacieux bien équipé très propre de Paul En plus pratique avec les navettes juste au pied de l immeuble Nous le recommandons vraiment

Five of us (my wife and I, another couple and a friend) stayed for five days in preparation for cycling the Étape du Tour. The apartment was perfect for us and exactly as described. Incredible views from the private balcony. All essentials for cooking were provided. Two fridges were an extra bonus. The owner, Paul Challis, was very helpful and accommodating (we needed to depart on a Monday). Before we arrived, Paul sent us a set of keys and a detailed description of the apartment with instructions for everything (including TV and WiFi). Highly recommended!

Everything was exactly as expected even the walk up the hill to the apartment was fairly described. Would happily book again for another skiing holiday. Paul, the owner, could not have been more helpful.

3rd time I've been now, this time with my son and two friends, and we had a great time again. As it was just the 4 of us we obviously had plenty of space in the apartment. We even cocked a few evenings and found everything we needed in the kitchen and there was plenty of wood for the fireplace. A small issue with the toilet flush was fixed immediately after getting in touch with the owner and athough there was limited fresh snow the sunshine made up for it. We all had a great skiing experience and would definitely come again.

La location a été prise pour 7 personnes et nous ne nous y sommes pas senti du tout à l'étroit, la location est propre, bien située à côté d'un arrêt de ski bus, ou à 5 minutes maximum en voiture des télécabines du Rozay, moins de 10 minutes en ski bus. Belle vus sur les Aravis, l'équipement est complet, il y a tout ce qu'il faut, la petite cascade à côté apporte son charme, si vous devez louer n'hésitez pas, les chaînes sont obligatoires en cas de neige pour accéder au chalet. Tout est ok, très bon séjour, à 7 nous y retournerons sans soucis, la location est prévue pour 8 personnes avec deux lits doubles et deux chambres avec deux lits ainsi qu'un canapé lit dans la mezzanine en plus. Très bon séjour, très bonne loc et le contact avec le propriétaire est nickel.

The property is very well maintained and equipped. Perfect for a group / family ski trip. Amazing views from the balcony . It's well located / connected to the village of Grand Bornard and the ski areas - will be back !

There are wonderful views from the balcony and the weather was hot (30 degrees) all week. The village offers a range of activities, including archery, paragliding, swimming and parcours as well as a good selection of bars and restaurants. Close by is the city of Annecy with its beautiful lake which is definitely worth a visit.

I stayed with a few friends, all at different skiing levels, and we couldn't have picked a better resort. Great, well prepared slopes for all skiing levels (during the 4 days we skied we rarely used the same slopes) and the weather was superb. I'd definitely take the family there as well. The town offers several good restaurants and is in short walking distance from the property. Can't wait to go again next year.

This is the best ski apartment I have ever stayed in. First off, it's massive - there were only four of us (big men) but each had our own proper double room, and two bedrooms. You could easily accommodate 10 if two don't mind sleeping on the comfy sofas. Then, the sitting and dining areas are plenty big enough and very comfortable and there's UK and Euro TV so you don't need to miss any of your favourite programmes! The kitchen is also a good size and very practical, so if you want you can cook (dishwasher too!). The Apartment is about 10mins walk to the town and gondola, but of you don't want to walk, the ski bus stops outside, so the location couldn't be better really. The town itself is very good - lots of little shops, supermarkets and restaurants - not too pricey (e.g. pizza about 10 Euro). If you want to look around further afield, I suggest a trip to Annecy which has a lovely lake and medieval buildings - definitely worth an afternoon as it's only about 40mins drive, I didn't go, but I think Chamoinix is about the same distance too. This a great place - and the host is lovely to deal with too - book it!

Le Grande-Bornarde is a perfect place to stay for families or friends. It was great that the apartment had a bath! The apartment is part of a wider block and so it was always warm with plenty of hot water. The apartment was a 5-10 minute walk to the ski lift but there was regular buses that took you there. Overall a great stay
