This house so clean, spacious, and what we expected from the listing. We were right across the street from Lower Tyro slope and could have easily walked to make it “ski in/ski out”. Unfortunately the weather was in the 70s so some of the snow had melted and they had to close that slope. Even still, it was a short drive to the top of the resort to start our days from there. Would definitely rent again.

We loved our stay! The house was exactly as described and was super clean and beautifully decorated! We had plenty of room and the house was fully stocked.

We selected this house on Pedlars Edge for my family of 7 to be close to other family members also staying on the mountain for a celebratory weekend honoring my daughter’s upcoming UVA graduation.
We were pleasantly surprised to be able to drive all the way up the driveway to the back of the house in order to allow the “seniors” in the group to only have three steps up to enter the upper kitchen/living level. We hosted lunch one day and there was plenty of room in the driveway for 7 cars that afternoon.
I waisted my time packing extra cleaning products, dish wash soap, paper towels & toilet paper because the house was already fully stocked with more than enough for our 3 night stay! The beds were comfortable and the layout of the house was perfect for our needs.
We did have some large black ants in the kitchen due to the warm spring weather, as well as a frozen up freezer and ice maker due to the door being left ajar prior to our arrival. However, the owner was very responsive to my questions and concerns and immediately scheduled an exterminator to treat the house and repair person to repair the refrigerator.
We had a beautiful spring weekend, and highly recommend hiking the Upper Shamokin Falls Trail to the cascading falls (we hike it each year we are there, no matter what season!) All in all, we would stay here again if the house is available for our next family trip to Wintergreen.

1) the downstairs external door was dysfunctional.
2) coffee maker needs to be replaced
3) ice maker in fridge doesn’t spit the ice into the receptacle.
Other than that, all was in working order.

5+ stars! Away for a girls weekend to celebrate my birthday. The home was ABSOLUTELY beautiful and so inviting!! Location is perfect. Home was very well stocked (thank you!) and super clean. Communication with the owner was fantastic. After the trip, we all said we are going to make this an annual trip, so we will be back for sure. Thank you for opening up your beautiful home.

Property was beautiful! Didn’t want to leave. We were greeted with a bottle of red wine on a tray with 2 glasses on the kitchen counter! What a great greeting. Loved the 3 master bedrooms each with an en-suite. Family was very impressed.

Family Reunion at Wintergreen
We had a fabulous week at 70 steps. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished. Brendon was a great host to our group who had traveled from multiple states to be together for the first time in years.

We always bring our own sheets because typically rentals have "scratchy stiff" sheets, but not Pedlars Edge. The sheets were even super soft! This home is more like a ski in/ski out because of its distance to the Tyro. It is literally only 70 steps away. The kids were able to come and go at their Leisure. The owners were super easy to communicate with. We can't thank them enough for opening up their beautiful home to us. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at Pedlar’s Edge! The house is bright and looks just like the pictures with a nice open floor plan upstairs. The beds are super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked - my husband commented that he has never stayed at a rental house where the knives are actually sharp. There were even a few kitchen gadgets like the rolling drying rack that I had not seen before and I ordered one for myself when I got home. The location of the house was perfect, we were able to walk across the street and jump on the slopes (the house is located off on a blue slope - Tyro). The house was well equipped and up to date with everything you need for a relaxing ski getaway (as relaxing as you can get with small children ;-) The owners were very helpful and welcoming. I would certainly stay here again and I highly recommend this house to others!

The house is amazing. For not being on the slope it is about as close as you can get. If you are planning on night skying keep in mind that the closest slope is tyro and it is not open. You can technically go down but it is dark. The owner responded to a small concerns with some bed issues promptly and was going to rectify those issues at his arrival.
