Beautiful, spacious house with everything you need for a relaxed vacation. Francesco was very helpful and friendly. The house is beautifully located high above the small harbor of Porto Santo Stefano - you shouldn't be afraid of a few stairs when going to the city center.

We all really loved staying in this villa. It was roomy and comfortable. I loved all of the artwork in the house. It really felt like home. The views are outstanding. The terrace is in the shade all day. The kitchen is well stocked. The location was exceptional - you can park right by the house. The host couldn’t have been nicer. We would 100% stay here again.

We were a family of four and spent a wonderful week at Francesco’s family home in Porto Santo Stefano. The view is possibly the best in the town and I could have stayed on the patio forever just looking at the view. The town is a 15 minute downhill walk taking shortcuts and there are wonderful alimentari and pastry shops. Bar Giulia at the port is a great people watching spot at the end of day. Nearby restaurant Dai frati was a great recommendation from Francesco. We spent a great day on Cala Mar Mort, bring snorkel and also shoes for rocks! Highlight of the week was a day trip to isola de giglio, don’t miss this wonderful jewel with the most beautiful beaches! Francesco was very responsive, and would highly recommend.

The house in Porto Santo Stefano is a very nice house with a perfect location. In the morning, when the sun is coming up, at breakfast, you have a beautiful view on the city of Porto Santo Stefano and the small harbors. In the afternoon you can sit in the shadow. If you want to sit in the sun you can make use of the second terrace and enjoy the sun. The only thing which could be improved was the somewhat messy terrace. An old wooden bench could have been removed before we arrived. Inside the house everything is available, and the bathrooms and bedrooms are very clean, and two of the three bathrooms are almost new. Very nice in the house is the separate room below the house where you can use the open fire place. One small remark, also the kitchen was somewhat messy, you could find a lot of stuff of previous guests. If you want to go to the middle of the town you can use the easy way by using the road, but there are many staircases you can use. You just must look for them. At the end it took us only 20 minutes to walk to the middle of the town. In the center you will find many restaurants and bars where you can enjoy your stay (day and night). In the environment also a lot of shopping markets are available, and every morning we could buy fresh bread at the shop Conad, 15 minutes walk. In the environment you can go to Porto Ercole, Giglio (you need to book ahead a ticket for the boat), Pitigliano and Capalbio. We want also to the beach on the headland. The contact with the owner, Fransesco, was done very easy. Every time when we needed some information, I could send him a Whats’ App message, and I received within a few minutes a message back. Arriving at the house the cleaning lady opened the door and showing us everything in the Italian language. We have enjoyed our stay at Porto Santo Stefano in this beautiful environment and nice house with the beautiful views.

This is the perfect house for one or two families. Francesco, the owner gave us a warm welcome and excellent service and we felt at home right from the start in this lovely house. The view over the village and sea is marvellous and we loved sitting at the terasse, especially in the morning, having our breakfast in the sun. Porto Santo Stefano is also a little pearl and a trip to Giglio is recommended. We definitely want to come back and stay in this house! Family Falkman and Arthursson/Sweden

This home was perfect for our family of seven. My husband and I vacationed here with our five children over Spring Break. If you are looking for a local Italian experience, I highly recommend booking with Francesco and his family. They were extremely helpful in planning the details of our stay in Porto Santo Stefano. The home is well accommodated and we truly loved staying here. The view from the front patio and living room are breathtaking. The town has some of the best food we had throughout all of Italy (eat at Dai Frati and Pizzeria de Gerry). Stroll along the sea front on a paved boardwalk. Enjoy the local beaches, take a boat ride, or just relax and enjoy the Italian country side. It was an easy drive to Florence, San Gimignano and Siena. We rented a van and drove here from the Rome airport, which was very easy. If you are renting a large vehicle, be aware that the streets in the smaller towns are very narrow, but our van was able to get through without a problem.
