This house is so comfortable and inviting! Very well-appointed in every way. The owner is very responsive. Highly recommend this property.The only (tiny) downside was the outside cats. They are very annoying, jump in your lap, etc. But, we finally got a spray bottle of water and that did the trick in keeping them away so we could sit out and enjoy the beautiful scenery and deer that came right up to the house!

This home is absolutely magical. The sun rises over a large field, which you can view from the nearly wrap around porch (with ample rocking chairs).Deers and birds are plentiful and feed right in front of you! It's so cool!Ann and Scott were not only warm and welcoming, but generous. Their home is spacious, tidy, and well stocked for larger groups to be able to cook and enjoy the home.I hope to return regularly!!

We had a lovely two weeks in this very comfortable home. It was very nice and spacious, decorated in elegant Texan way, fully equipped with very comfortable beds. The veranda and outlook across the countryside was delightful. A great place to watch the wildlife. There are lots of things to do in the area and the countryside is beautiful in the spring. The leaflets left in the house were very useful.

Loved the setting and decor of the house. Spacious, clean, beautifully decorated house was exactly like the pics. Our daughters had their own room and my husband and I had the master bedroom. The AC kept the house very comfortable. Loved sitting out on the porch feeding and watching the deer. Nice and quiet but close enough to San Antonio to drive in and visit the Pearl and Riverwalk.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful, cozy home! The owners literally thought of everything! Our son goes to school nearby, and we will definitely stay here again!

Quiet in the country.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, everything was just as it stated in the listing. Very comfortable and plenty of room to move around. Wildlife came into the backyard, my teenagers loved it! Everything was clean and stocked. Will definitely stay at this property again!

This property was perfect for our Girls' Weekend. The check- in process was easy, and our contact, Ann, was very helpful and accommodating. The hosts thought of everything, from the warm welcome snack of locally-made salsa and chips to the quality linens and towels. Wonderfully comfy beds and extra pillows and blankets, too. The gourmet kitchen and well-stocked pantry had everything you could need to prepare meals. We loved the big back porch w/Adirondack rockers and cushioned chairs. It was so relaxing to watch the goats playing across the pasture, deer feeding w/in feet of us, and so many species of birds at the feeders. We watched wild turkeys at sunrise, and enjoyed the owl serenade as the moon rose. Excellent Shopping and dining in Boerne or San Antonio are close by. And while we didn't have time to use the fire pit, I highly recommend you pack the S'mores fixin's. Huge old oaks surround the house, adding even more charm. We highly recommend this property. I can't wait until we can return.

This is our third or fourth year staying here and it was perfect as always! It's very calm and peaceful and Ann is always so helpful and responsive. We've never had anything we needed - kitchen is well stocked and plenty of logs for us to burn! We always talk about how we wish our regular homes were this comfortable and spacious! This was such a great rental! The ranch/farmhouse was perfectly equipped with everything that my family needed. It was a true rural experience while still being close to town. My family would definitely visit again!

This beautiful home was perfect for our family stay during our son’s wedding and festivities at Don Strange Ranch, which was just a short drive away. We were able to relax and watch the deer in our downtime. Perfect. Comfortable. Spacious.

I will definitely rent this house again! Loved the layout and it was super clean. Sitting on the back porch watching the sunset and all the dear was just magical! Loved every minute of our trip!

This place was just perfect. It is close enough to town but yet still feels like the country. The deer come right up to the porch and we even saw a baby armadillo. We had the best time. I highly recommend the Boerne Cafe and bumdoodlers lunch, good food and low prices. If you travel past the house you can see beautiful ranches, one even has a zebra, and breathtaking views. We spent the week taking daytrips around the hill country and had a blast. Even though it was sweltering hot everywhere else, the temperature was always cooler at the house and the porch always had a light breeze. The owner was very nice and always available if we needed anything. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

It's hard to believe such a peaceful and relaxing location is so close to Boerne, Comfort, and San Antonio. An ideal spot to launch out into many different areas.

Can’t say enough nice things about this house. So comfortable: spent hours inside and out reading books, eating, watching deer, playing with sweet cats. The property is expansive. Listened to cows and roosters and the wind blow. Don’t laugh, I live in the city in my real life. Beds are super comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of space for family (especially teens) and great views from every window. Easy access to San Antonio (half hour, give or take), Boerne, Bandera, Comfort, Kerrville, etc. Weather delayed our arrival which makes me mad! I want the time back to read and gaze out over the Hill Country.
