Sea Urchins beach house is really homely, all the mod cons you need for a comfortable stay. All the decor and knickknacks are really quirky. Comfy beds but again Not fitted bottom sheets which does make a difference to a good nights sleep. The smaller bedroom with 2 singles pushed together has a fitted sheet on but didnt fit and only just went over top edges of the mattress so came off most nights. It wasnt easy to get back on. Location is great just down from all the amenities and close to beach walk. Very nice outdoor furniture with cushions kept in small bedroom to make it even more comfortable.

We are regulars at The Bay and the 2 bedroom beach houses are perfect for a couple or small family. We love the seaside decor, good facilities and lots of extras provided. Cleaning and ustomer service are both excellent, the site is dog friendly. Dogs can use the nearby beach all year round (there are restrictions near the promenade during the summer). We used the swimming pool every day and enjoyed a walk to Filey and a walk to the beach cafe at Reighton Gap - from there you can take a path along the cliff top back to the site. Just check tide times before going down to the beach to be on the safe side! We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed sunshine every day!

Managed to fit on another stay at our favorite site in our favorite lodge. As usual the lodge did not disappoint. The weather was lovely. We used the pool everyday which is a great treat for the grandchildren . The dog loves the ve ue as well walking the cliffs a d swimming in the sea.. anmot praise our hosts enough reccomme dating abound. Thanks to Rachel for quick telephone help/query sorted. This is our second year staying in the Sea Urchin Beach House and we hope to return next summer. We can't fault it. It has every home comfort plus a welcome pack, plenty of children's games, jigsaws and beach equipment. There is good communication with the company.

Lovely beach hut with everything you could need. Loads of kitchen equipment and utensils, games for the whole family, extra quilts/blankets, beach toys, relaxing log burner and outside furniture. Parking was great right next to hut. Location of hut it literally 1 minute walk from swimming, restaurant, pub, arcades. 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach. Dogs allowed on the beach all year. We had an issue with the main bed which couldn't be rectified there and they did try. It was easily resolved for us as the twin beds also turned into a double but this room was obviously smaller than the main bedroom and if we had the kids with us we couldn't of used the twin room. Hopefully this gets resolved as the beach hut was lovely and if this was resolved would definately stay again. Property always has hot water and 2 bathrooms which was great. Nights got a bit chilly which was great to have the log burner option. There is heating too but it told us the room was 24 degrees so when it was still chilly we couldn't get the heating on the last 2 nights. Blankets resolved this and it didn't spoil our visit. Lovely stay! Had everything we needed for our family, all the facilities required in a beautiful location! We loved our stay and look forward to coming back! The beach house was very clean, the highchair had been left dirty but at no fault of the owners We would definitely return! X

Lovely place to stay, found booking activities (swimming sessions) not easy. Thought I’d booked , but was told I hadn’t, which is very disappointing with young children , but overall a very great place to visit

Very good experience staying at the Beach House with our 14 year old Labrador ( his first holiday) The property was very cosy like home from home . We arrived late afternoon so the welcome pack (milk, coffee ) etc was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend to our friends. The site was very clean and the bar was very welcoming with our dog.

The property was outstanding. It was immaculate inside with every home comfort you could wish for. The owner was exceptionally friendly and provided lovely personalised welcome information. The location was perfect with the playground, restaurant and swimming pool in close proximity. We had a fantastic week and would not hesitate to book again. Thank you so much for being so accommodating. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Bright and cheerful chalet. Easy access to beach, pub and café. Nice beach walk to Filey for coffee / chips. Great for dogs.

I had a accident on the logs which are laid outside everywhere, due to this I had to come home nearly a week early anyone who is elderly has a disability or even children should be made aware.

Overall really, really lovely...well equipped and perfect location near Filey beach. Paula reacted immediately when there was a problem with the drains. Very small gribble...would benefit from a freshen up and a few new kitchen towels/utensils.

Filey, Filey beach and the surrounding area is well worth a visit. We were lucky and had great weather. The Bay Resort is also well designed to suit your needs with many amenities catered for. We felt the shop was rather lacking in good food and typical necessities and would put the icing on the cake if it provided an improved selection.

Had a lovely few days great beach house will definitely stay again :-)

We are just home from a fantastic stay at Seaurchin Beach House! The house was great, beautiful decor, very well equipped in all areas including toys/dvds/games as well as everything you need in the kitchen. We loved the outside furniture too & used it for breakfast everyday! Thank you very much for a brilliant holiday!

Very nicely laid out, ideal for families. Lots of books, dvds and games to keep you amused if the weather is not kind to you. Lovely setting very close to the beach.

Beautiful beach house set in an ideal location. The house was perfect for our little family. It had everything you could possibly need for a week's holiday. Correspondence with Paula was excellent.

A well presented beach house with all the mod cons you can need for a week away. Lovely and warm as still a bit cold in March with radiators and instant hot water. Well equipped kitchen and selection of toys, board games and dvds. A few small areas need attention but nothing that detracts from the quality of the overall house. The Bay is a lovely place and obviously still under development but will be amazing when finished. Could do with a small shop for convenience.

We had a lovely stay in your lovely beach house, weather was great which made it a pleasant walk to the beach. The beach house had everything you needed, my son loved finding all the toys etc it certainly kept him occupied. Pub on site is lovely and food is good, we enjoyed a bike ride to Filey and we drove to Bridlington and Scarborough so plenty to do to make this an enjoyable/relaxing holiday The Chummers Family Hartlepool

Beach hut exactly as described on a quiet cul de sac, very clean throughout, 5 minutes walk to the excellent beach where we regularly strolled to Filey for fish and chips. The pub and restaurant/cafe served good food at reasonable prices...take your Tastecard for 2 for 1 meals at the pub. We would definitely recommend this beach hut and will be returning soon.

A lovely property on a very well kept site. The beach house had everything we needed for a weekend break. It is very well equipped and clean and well maintained. Having toys and DVD for the children was great. The Bay has excellent facilities for families and we had a really enjoyable time.

The Beach House is a lovely unique property. More than enough space for 4 adults and a chance to go back to your youth sleeping in a bunk bed. The Bay is a great place, spotlessly clean and some stunning properties. We visited the Pub, Italian and used the leisure facilities. This was our 4th visit and we continue to return for relaxing long weekends in this beautiful setting
