The location is absolutely gorgeous! Great pool, jungles inside hotel:)

Good swimming pool

No food as they mentioned, No staff is there after 6 pm. Very dirty environment. You are on your own in any need or emergency. Also they don't answer phone after 6 pm. They are renovating things so hope these issues get fixed.

Two totally separate sides to it: The villas, the garden, the pool are terrific. The staff are nice, smiling, helpful. There is a bunch of nice friendly people staying long-term in other villas around the garden. On the other hand: The villa I stayed in (in addition to being lovely, spacious, with a wonderful view) was run-down, old, dirty, doors don't close properly, A/C doesn't cool well, the shower is a nightmare, etc. Entering the premises at first was a tiny bit difficult, we rang the bell outside a door that has no name sign but just the street number, and someone came up a few minutes later at a different door, ok this is acceptable. But when I returned from dinner around 8-9 pm, I was left out for at least 15 minutes during which I rang the bell, pounded the door, called the phone number and yelled out numerous times and was scared to death on the deserted street in the dark, thinking I was left out for the night. I don't scare easily, and this 15 minutes I was terrified. This is NOT acceptable.

Not exactly a well-kept place. Gotta appreciate the location though. Can walk to watch sunset on the beach.
