We had a wonderful time staying here. Everything is as pictured and very clean. Plenty of space for the four of us. This town is in a good area to explore many villages in Provence. The only suggestion is that check in could be a little earlier than 4:30pm. Thank you Florence.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this property in September this year. We could not fault it in any way. There are no surprises when arriving as the photographs are accurate and in many ways don't do the house and garden justice. The location is perfect. It is easy walking distance to the village - which was also even better than expected. It is also locate close to roads out of town for day trips etc but once inside the garden and behind the trees and walls, it is a very peaceful location. The perfect combination of convenience and solitude. Florence, the owner, was helpful and charming. It was a pleasure to meet her.

We had a Beautiful 8 day stay! The grounds and the house were exceptional and very comfortable for 2 couples. Our weather was fantastic. We took day trips to many villages, drove to Cassis, did a kayak trip down the river under The Pont du Gard, had an exceptional wine tasting experience at St Charles wine cellar in Chateauneuf du Pape, in addition to relaxing by the pool. The kitchen is well equipped ad we cooked in a few nights while enjoying the outdoor dining table that made for a memorable experience… fresh food and flowers from the market. Be sure to arrive on Wednesday so you can attend the amazing market in town on Thursday morning. We flew into Paris and spent a few days to recover from jet lag before taking the high speed train to Avignon where we rented our car. Everything went fine and everyone was lovely and we had no problems considering no one in our group spoke French. We all agree we would definitely return. Merci Frances

The Orangey is a fabulous place to stay with fantastic views of the Fort Saint Andre in Villeneuve and Avignon and the mountains in the distance. A beautiful well maintained property surrounded by fruit trees and lush greenery. Wonderful location for visiting the surrounding areas and great restaurants within walking distance. Florence was a charming host and happy to help if required. The pool and terrace areas so fabulous we found it difficult not to stay all day. We could happily stay in this little piece of heaven forever.

The property is a beautiful two bedroom cottage, clean and modern inside and with a charming pool and garden areas featuring two pretty sitting areas. Everything was as described in the listing, both bedrooms came with large ensuite bathrooms with excellent showers. The house was well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, plenty of good quality cups, plates and cutlery, really everything you could need in a holiday home. We did not meet Florence as she was away following the birth of a grand-daughter, but her husband Vincent met us and showed us around. He was very nice and relaxed and helpful, although he does not speak much English and I don't speak much French. Villenuve-les-Avignon is a charming, quiet village and the centre is a 5-10 minute walk from the house, Avignon is just across the Loire, about a five minute drive or bus ride from the house, so the location was excellent. I would highly recommend the property for parties up to two couples.

This is a quiet setting with a wonderful well kept garden. The pool is ideal for adults. The building is modern, immaculate and well maintained throughout. Walking distance of the nearby town and a short bus trip into Avignon. Delightful owners.

We picked this place because of the modern look and feel of the property, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful grounds and beautifully appointed house. It was a pleasure to come home to this house after a long day of wine-tasting in the nearby Chateauneuf du Pape and Gigondas wine regions. Would definitely recommend!

This property is perfect for two couples, the setting is very nice. It provided us with a central location for exploring Provence. The village has numerous good restaurants within walking distance The only addition we would have liked at the property is a BBQ. Our hostess is very congenial.

We had a great time at “The House of Casarie.” The house was perfectly appointed and worked great for two couples. The location lent itself to exploring many amazing villages in Provence and then returning in the afternoon to relax by the pool for an afternoon swim. We loved the short walk into Villeneuve-lès-Avignon to grab a croissant, baguette, or to just sit with a glass of wine. Great place, look forward to visiting again to enjoy the beauty of Provence in “Casarie”, our home away from home.Thank-you Florence,Marcie

We had a wonderful stay in this amazing villa with all you could wish for. It was spotless, very comfortable , well equipped for a self catering holiday and what an incredible garden and pool. Villeneuve Les Avignon is a serene village with good restaurants and cafes within a 10 minute walk from the villa. Its location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area. We visited Avignon, Uzes, Nimes, Gard du Pont. Chateauneuf de Pape and St Remy de Provence, all within an hours drive. Highly recommend this villa. Barbara and Michael

We shared Casarie in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon with 2 friends and it was perfect. The 45’ pool outside our front door was ideal, landscaping was beautiful, it was a nice walk down the hill to the village, and Florence (owner) was very considerate and friendly. We would love to return some day.
