Unexpected place. Great location for city tour, great Tatra museum (especially Tatra museum 2... Reserve couple of hours). The place.. Antique in a positive manner, and rooms tidy, suitable for a family, a with small child as well, gooood breakfast with avocado salad, tasty tea and selection of perfectly looking cakes, not to mention of a nice service. Overall rate 15 in a 1 to 10 scale 😊

I only missed hair dryer.

The stay was very pleasant, there's nice café at the place, we loved the play room with billiard, foosball, darts... We had nice parking spot, you can get there very well by car. I would 100% recommend though and will most probably return in the future.

The only thing that really bothered me a little was mattresses on the beds, they were too soft. I concur this is highly subjective, but total of three people were staying there and we all agreed on this. Also, bathroom door's handle wasn't working, so we needed to lock the door every time we wanted to use it.

Matraces, bedding and pillows were not comfortable at all. Long wait at the restaurant. Upfront payment without a proper invoice which we never received. Chaotic and long check-in in the middle of the busy restaurant. While we stayed for 6 nights we didn't have out bin emptied or towels changed - not even once, say after 3 days. Only two small towels given for 2 adults, but extra towels provided upon our request. For longer stay it would be nice to have a hair dryer and iron/ironing board available or upon request.

Villa Machu is a very nice place to stay. The rooms are modern and fresh, well equipped, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Building itself is also beautiful - especially compared with the surrounding communistic-style blocks ;) The cafe (located in the same building) serves good cakes and ice cream. Seems very popular among locals.

Wifi was a little bit weak in our room, window shades didn't really protect from the light coming through the roof window and some small fridge would be a nice addition, especially during hot summer days. Private parking was quite crowded and not the most convenient (fortunately there are also nice big spots in front of the villa).

No restaurant, but not a big deal. Good food is around a corner.

Fantastic breakfast! Excellent choice, especially the mouth watering banana pancaces are worth trying! Additionally great coffee! Nice and helpful personnel, comfy beds. Everything is new and shiny :) good position for exploring the town as well as Stramberk, Hukvaldy, Jicin.
