Wanted a comfortable convenient bach for a group of friends on a kayaking orientated long weekend. This place was perfect especially as we could launch our boats at the cul-de-sac, after a short portage. Also good for our family style cooking, plus plenty of safe parking, and storage of bikes.

Good location, classic NZ Bach. Plenty of parking. Boat parking can be awkward but there is plenty of room. Plus own jetty in very private bay. Very cool bach.

The Bach is awesome! Lots of room to park the boat trailers for the weekend. Short walk down to the private Jetty. The Bach had everything we needed and more. Will definitely be back!

We had a good time in this nice house.

The property is located in one of the most beautiful spots in Rotorua, among native bush and situated by the most beautiful inlets of lake Rotoiti, it has a safe mooring on a shared jetty for people that want to leave their boat in the water over night. The deck is a great entertaining spot with amazing views. The kitchen facilities are well set up with 2 fridges, there is a great bbq available. All in all a perfect family get away spot.

Okere is a very beautiful location. The property is about 20 mins from Rotorua but really central to many activities. The house is a classic kiwi holiday house with everything you need for a relaxing break.

We had the best stay, so quiet and peaceful. House feels like a traditional family Bach. New BBQ was great, House is sunny and warm.

We had a great time for trout opening caught lots of fish weather was testing but had a fire to warm the house on the cold nights

We had a wonderful time exploring Rotorua and its surroundings. The location and views were beautiful. The house was a little tired. The kitchen needs some new pots/pans/ utensils, the BBQ was not useable (we had planned meals around using the BBQ), and there was a musty smell in the house. Needed to keep windows and doors open as much as possible. Had issues with the oven not working too but after contacting the owner he was able to direct us to fixing that. The games room downstairs was a winner though! Kids and adults enjoyed playing pool and table tennis (if you could find a bat that had rubber on...)

Loved our short stay, Bach was perfect for our stay with mates . Bach was clean and tidy with everything you could need . Bbq could do with some attention but nun the less excellent stay

The house felt like a home which I loved. The kids loved the space and all the extra things to play with. This is the perfect place to go if you are wanting to get away from your everyday life and appreciate the small things in life.

Great size

Awesome location and bach had everything we needed. The fire was fantastic for warming the living areas. Games room was a favourite with all our teenagers. Would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to come back.

Location was great. Once the fire was going we were very comfortable. It was a very cold weekend. Stroll to lake fromt short and easy, location to town handy. Everything we needed (aside from the specified items we needed to bring) was at the house. We really enjoyed relaxing there with the bird life.

Beautiful location and morning views over the lake. We had coffee at the picnic table outside and enjoyed the birdsong and fresh air. Great space for spending time with people. We really enjoyed just hanging out here and playing some pool too. Recommend for anyone who wants to spend time in their accommodation and enjoy the surroundings. Just make sure you dont forget to turn on the hot water before your shower ;)

Property was clean, tidy and everything was ready for us - including firewood. Was a bit further out of Rotorua than we anticipated but was in a lovely setting. Would love to visit in summer! Thanks for having us!

Love the location, if the owners relied on professional cleaners then more attention to detail is required, downstairs shower has mould and grime in the corners and at the bottom of the the shower door, I used this shower as I felt upstairs shower was a bit slippery, I feel we left it cleaner than when we arrived but that’s just me, will want to stay again, Bart

Great family accomodation. Lots of space, well equipped batch for a long stay. Lovely sheltered bay when it's blowing a gale on the lake. Awesome views and the jetty is a bonus.

We loved staying at the property David was easy to communicate with and helped where be could. Would have been helpful to know that the drive way was ok for boat trailer access, but it did not detract from a great weekend

Good Roomy house with everything you could need including the sporting games in the basement. Fire place was all set ready to light when we arrived which was a big plus as it was getting late in the afternoon.

Was awesome lucky it has a fire place as it gets cold in winter big house down stair was good for the adults with a pool table
