We loved staying at Frane's holiday home- 5 adults and 4 children aged 3 to 11. It's in two separate and air conditioned apartments (necessary in the 37 degree heat wave) but with lots of outdoor spaces, the wonderful pool, and a semi-outdoor kitchen. Frane was really welcoming and did everything he could to make our stay as great as possible. It was steps from a great beach (with a bar and ice creams), and a Tommy's supermarket. We (half of the group) didn't have a car and had hoped to get Slatine's only taxi from the ferry port but this didn't work for us so it was quite a hot walk up the hill! But Frane kindly gave us a lift from to Trogir on our last day with our bags to avoid the same- thank you. We didn't need a car when we were there- too much relaxing to do! It was also possible to get the bus to Trogir. Walking to Slatine was also fine without luggage! Great location, fantastic host, wonderful property. Thanks!

En otroligt fin villa med ett kanonläge! Nära stranden, nära till ett mindre supermarket. Bra utgångspunkt för utflykter i området. Mycket bra pool och pool område. Vi är supernöjda! Och Frane är en helt otroligt bra och serviceinriktad hyresvärd. Hjälper till med det mesta som behöva. Nära till restauranger i Trogir och Slatine.

This is the perfect house and location for anyone traveling with children or a larger group of people. Beach, restaurant and store are all within a minutes walk and there are many interesting places to visit within a hours drive. The house is well equipped and the hosts go out of their way to accommodate your every request. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

We had a fantastic holiday at Villa Demer. There were 8 of us in total -mix of small children, teenagers and adults. Everyone was just blown away by this place. The pool was a delight - well maintained, warm and with a stunning view. The villa easily accommodated our group size. It was clean and well kept. Villa Demer is perfect for two families therefor it is two separated floors. A car is not a necessity for Trogir or Split, but might be if you prefer visit Krka national park. Trogir and Split gave us good days out. But mainly we just enjoyed hanging out around the pool, by the beach and relaxing over long dinners. The outdoor kitchen was great. Any questions or requests were quickly dealt with by Frane. Delightful family who really want you to enjoy your stay. We highly recommend this villa!

We had SUCH a happy week at Villa Demer. Many many thanks to Frane, who was very friendly and helpful, from the minute we booked to the minute we left. A thoroughly nice chap & a thoughtful host. Villa Demer is really well designed, particularly the garden. Lots of shady places. Nice big table and super-handy outdoor kitchen. The pool is wonderful. The whole place is immaculately clean, inside and out. The location couldn't have been better for us: - only 15 minutes taxi ride from the airport (thanks to the new bridge connecting Ciovo to the mainland) - beach (& bar) just one minute walk away (cross the road & you're there) - a couple of minutes walk to the nearest Tommy's (Croatian grocery store) We really liked the friendly beach bar & had several happy evenings there. The kids played air hockey and boules, or played in the trees & on the beach, while the adults relaxed with a drink. Pizza and seafood, good prices. We also enjoyed walking round the coast to the heart of Slatine, where we had a couple of good meals by the harbour, and also got the boat to Trogir for a really lovely evening out (taxi back to the villa very reasonable price). The road is not good for walking to Slatine harbour (no pavement), but there are plenty of buses. Or do as we did and walk along the beach and up onto a rough track (and a final steep walk). It's not far, & is a fun walk with good views and a couple of nice quiet swimming spots. We can't wait to return.

Our family of 9 have just spent a very happy week staying at this lovely villa and would agree with everything that has been said in previous reviews. In addition, the owner not only provided helpful advice during the week but from the initial booking he was happy to communicate by email and answer any questions that we had. The pool, with inflatables and balls, was a highlight for the children, as was our visit to the Aquapark which is situated next to the harbour in Slatine. Children and adults need to swim out to the inflatable platform but life jackets are provided for children if needed. This villa is of a high standard - clean, well equipped and close to local amenities. Our family would highly recommend it.

We are five adults and five kids spending a fantastic week at Frane’s villa. Everything was clean and Frane with family gave us very good service. A very practical house for a big family. In the villa it was a big pool as we spent a lot of time in and just cross the street we had a wonderful beach with clear water and a restaurant. Just a short walk it was a food store and an ATM. This property has everything you need. It is clean, well equipped and the outside kitchen was so useful. There is plenty of outside space, whether you want sun or shade, to be together or to have some peace and quiet. From the veranda you get a lovely view across the sea to Split, with the mountains beyond. The bedrooms are comfortable and have plenty of storage. The air conditioning was very welcome. Although it's in the living room it cools the bedrooms if you leave the doors slightly open. The villa is just across the road from the beach. The beach cafe wasn't open when we were there as it was too early in the season (last week in May/first week in June). There are several good restaurants within a 20 min walk in either direction of the villa. Walk into Slatine and you can get the ferry to Split or Trogir. There is also a bus stop almost opposite the villa with buses running all along the coast. There is a small supermarket just a few hundred yards from the villa which stocked everything we needed. Frane and his family were lovely and so considerate. During our stay Frane kept in touch by email to see if everything was ok, and to arrange linen changes and pool cleaning to fit in with us. I would definitely stay here again.

The villa was everything that was mentioned in the ad. Villa was in a quiet neighborhood (at least on Easter) but still few minutes drive from the islands center. Clean, affordable, well-equipped, beautiful, tranguil and whit a stunning sun rise that you can admire from the villa. We recommend trying the fishmarkets kalamaris and mackerels by grilling them in the Villas outdoor grill! Heavenly! Or just wandering the beach which is practically next to the door. Villas owner Frane was very hospitable and reachable when needed. Thank you again Frane so much for making our holiday possible and being so nice to us! Min familie og jeg, totalt fem voksne og to barn, hadde en fantastisk fin ferieuke her. God plass, deilig uteområde med basseng og en trampoline som virkelig falt i smak hos de yngste gjorde sitt til at dette ble vellykket. Kort vei til strand, butikk, Trogir og Split mm var heller ikke å forakte. Vi kommer gjerne i gjen, og anbefaler stedet på det varmeste.

We were as many as 3 familys + 2 adults staying at this very modern, well-equipped and beautiful place. From the pool you have a lovely view over the ocean and a perfect beach is just across the road. There is also a restaurant at the beach and a small supermarket is next to the beach. The service is outstandning, the family who owns the place lives right behind the house and you can at any time just ask for advice, taxi or an extra towel! Perfect staying for familys with small kids. Best is to have your own car – the buses don´t always run so you need to walk on the very narrow road a bit to come to restaurants, activities and shopping if you don´t have a car. I truly recommend this place!

This is a fantastic villa with very nice owner! Frane (the main host) is very helpful and easy to like. The villa is right next to the beach, it is very clean and well-maintained. The garden is totally amazing with the pool, the outside shower, the relax area, the outside kitchen and barbecue. We where 12 persons in the villa and it was plenty of space for everybody. There are a few nice restaurants whitin walking distance and Frane is happy to take you to grossery store and butcher store so you can use the grill. We recommend renting scoter to see the hole island which is beautiful. We Can highly recommend this property!

Vi var 3 familier samlet og totalt 13 personer med smått og stort. Sengeplasser til alle, og et fantastisk utekjøkken ( med alt utstyr ) og en grill som ble flittig brukt. Alt var skinnende rent og både ute og inne. Frane ( huseier ) og hans foreldre tok i mot oss med åpne armer , og var veldig behjelpelige med alt, nydelige folk og et fantastisk vertskap. Butikk rett ved med litt begrenset utvalg og strandrestaurant like nedforbi med god mat og herlig betjening. Bassenget var rent og flott, og med nesten 40 grader var det godt å ha alt i nærheten. Kan anbefale dette flotte huset med det lille ekstra i form av vertskapet, vi storkoste oss!!!!

Dette var ett fantastisk ferie hus, vi var 10 stk. I alle aldere og alle var godt fornøyde. Jeg lagde mye av maten iløpet av turen og kjøkken fasiliteter var meget bra, det var 2 små kjøkken inne og 1 stort ute. Stor grill som vi lagde mange typer kjøtt og fisk på. 1 minutt gange til sjø, butikk og Strand restaurant. 30min spasertur inn til Trogir. 20 min i taxi fra flyplassen, betalte 200-250 kuna for dette. Eiendommen var inngjerdet noe som gjorde at de små kunne springe rundt og leke.

Vi anbefaler på det sterkeste et opphold i Villa Demir! Vi var ti stykker:)Bra beliggende i litt autentisk område. Sentralt med lett adkomst fra Split flyplass og sjarmerende Trogir. 15 minutts gange til en båt som tok oss til Split sentrum. Du trenger ikke bil. Vi hadde skuter som vi brukte til markedet i Trogir! Supert utvalg. Butikker tilgjengelig rett ved. Fantastisk gjestfritt og positivt vertskap som alltid var på tilbudssiden. Rent og ordentlig.Fantastisk med utekjøkkenet og grillen! Barnevennlig!!Turmuligheter. Vi storkoste oss ved det delikate bassenget. Litt mye lyd av bassenget. En del trafikk på veien, men eiendommen er gjerdet inn med porter. God parkeringsmulighet. Dette er å anbefale!

We are a Norwegian family of 10 that rented this beautiful house for a week in 2015. The house was easy to find even without GPS. The owner was very friendly and service minded and spoke very well english. The house was extremely nice with several outdoor relax areas. We especially liked the outdoor table in the shades wich was perfect for breakfast. I also like to mention an outdoor kitchen which we used a lot. The location of the house was also perfect. Very close to the beach and only 6km away from the lovely city of Trogir. I hope I can come back. It is perfect for 2 families as it has 2 apartments. . Trond w/ family

Der perfekte Ort für einen Familienurlaub! Wir (7 Personen im Alter von 5 bis 77) verlebten in der Villa Demer eine perfekte Woche. Der Empfang durch die Besitzer war unglaublich herzlich. Das Haus hat alles, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Die Raumaufteilung bietet die Möglichkeit, selbst beim Reisen in der Gruppe sein persönliches privates Plätzchen zu finden oder gemeinsam Zeit in der tollen Sommerküche oder auf der Terrasse und dem Balkon zu verbringen. In wenigen Schritten ist man am Strand und kann Sonne und Meer genießen. Vielen Dank für eine wunderschöne Zeit!!

Perfect week in Croatia! My frends and I ( 10 young people ) were 7 Days in Croatia. We where lucky to book this Villa. It was perfect from start till the end! The owners of the house where very helpfull and very nice. If we asked they helped us immediately! The place is at a beautifull beach with beach-bar which serves very good food an cold drinks. Very nice holidays!!! Thank you very much!

We were a group of 10 Norwegians who had a nice time in the villa. The service was excellent, they were helpful and very kindly. The villa was very clean and everything was in good condition. It was only some few steps to the sea and the area around was clean and safe. The villa had beautiful places outsides. We recommend the villa groups and families!!

We are fully satisfied of our holidays in Ciovo Island. The villa Demer is exactly as described, was recently renewed, is well equiped and quite confortable. The proximity of the beach is a real advantage. The beach is nice and not too crowded. Trogir is a nice city with a number of activities for the evening. The owners are available for anything you need and very helpful,particularly for arrival and departure. We would recommend villa Demer to a friend and consider going again there for future holidays.
