Nothing at all .

Great location slightly outside the city center but still easily accessible. Large lawn, and park right next door. Beautiful old rambling building, lots of seating in the pub/restaurant area. King size bed was definitely king size, and the mattress was very comfortable. Clean, very functional bathroom with enough space to place our toiletries. Nice armchairs by the corner window looking out to lush trees.

The halls felt overheated for June, and even with the window open to the cool air the whole time, the room never got cool enough for the comforter, and we were too hot to sleep well. Pillows were a bit overstuffed too. The wardrobe in the room was designed with open shelves, no doors, which gave the impression of corner-cutting, and made it feel a bit cluttered.

Great room where we could keep our bikes safe. Good decor and furnishings. Great shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Well located for the centre of Ripon. Really good value as breakfast included in rate.

Setting

There was no where to put your toiletries in the bathroom and I ended up putting them on the floor. Even my toothbrush and toothpaste!! Also there was a hairdryer but no plug by the mirror so you ended up drying your hair without a mirror. Not sure who designed the room but surely these little things should be standard

Location excellent. Hotel recently renovated so facilities all very good.

Bathroom in our room was cold and tiled floor particularly so. Difficult to get parking space when we arrived on Saturday.

Wonderfully updated and refurbished since my last visit. Great location and friendly staff

Breakfast

First room allocated, room 6, window frame was rotton and and gap at bottom of window allowed cold wind in the room. Next room, room 10, frames were rotting but no gaps. Smallest tv l have seen in a long timeDated

Breakfast, there was plenty of choice

Disappointed there was no spa facilities in hotel
