These little cabins are absolutely delightful. We stayed in Pademelon cabin and as soon as we arrived a little pademelon was there to greet us :) everything you need to self cater is available.

The location and staff were both amazing

Perfect location, beautiful surroundings. It was within walking distance of the Visitor Information Centre and the shuttle bus that takes you to Dove Lake and various other stops along the way. Lovely, helpful hosts. The heater to our cabin was turned on, making our arrival in more welcoming.

We had a cosy cottage surrounded by trees and bushes. The wood fire came with easy, helpful instructions and kept the cottage warm. The kitchen was well equipped for self catering. It was in easy walking distance of the shuttle bus for Cradle Mountain, which was next to the visitors centre. We had a warm welcome on check in. We will stay there again whenever we visit the area.

Location perfect, short walk from visitor centre, but really quiet, hidden amongst the trees.

Downstairs was lovely. Upstairs could have been improved for me with a chair, or somewhere to put things other than bed or floor.

Loved this cabin hidden in the bush! It was perfect for our two night stay. My husband enjoyed building the fire. Very cosy and snuggly. Has everything you need for self catering. Host checked if we needed more firewood on our second day - which was lovely.

Walking tracks to cabins could be lit when dark. Difficult to walk back after Devils feeding at night time.

Our family of three absolutely loved our stay at the Cradle Mountain Highlanders. It was our favourite accommodation whilst in Tassie. It was very clean and well appointed. Excellent cooking facilities. The beds were super comfortable. The cabins are spaced well appart with trees all around with wildlife literally at your doorstep. It was such a peaceful, private place to stay, so quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

I thought the surrounding vegetation and wildlife was exceptional and the cabin was very sweet and comfortable.

Wood cabin is different and very cozy. Keeps warm in cold weather. Well equipped kitchen and quite spacious. Very close to the visitor center within walking distance.

Wi-Fi is basically not working.
