A lovely rustic property, deceptively spacious, ideally placed to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside.

We had a one-week stay in this lovely, well-equipped villa with a good-sized pool and garden. We never tired of the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Only a 5-minute walk into the beautiful village of Fornalutx, which had a great choice of restaurants and a couple of bars in the main square. Thank you Alexis for being such a great host and for all the helpful info you gave us before and during our trip.

Homely and well equipped house in beautiful surrounding. Great pool but probably not suitable for very young children as it soon becomes deep which is great for adults and older children who are proficient swimmers.

We arrived late at night but easily found the property thanks to Alexis’ great directions. It was dark out so we had no idea what a treat we were in for. We could hear some sheep baa-ing in the darkness. When we awoke, the daylight revealed the most spectacular and magical setting! We couldn’t love this property any more! The home is beautiful, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, the landscaped yard and pool are stunning, the location can not be better for access to the village shops and restaurants. An easy walk to the center of town, the home is quiet though very much a part of the village. The views from the pool terrace are really spectacular and I couldn’t have imagined any other location in town to beat this one. Fornalutx is beauty around every corner, a jewel box that we we thrilled to discover. We now dream of retiring there. Beautiful beaches are within easy reach, as is Soller only only minutes away. We found that we loved just being in the yard and only left for meals in town and a day on the coast. Alexis was available, friendly, and helpful. I can’t wait to return.

Set minutes from the centre of Fornalutx, the house is laid out beautifully, with lots of space to relax, swim or enjoy dinner with the family. The views from the pool terrace are stunning. The property owner was always available for questions and recommendations in the local area.

Lovely house and great location. We were under the impression that the house was in the countryside and secluded but it was a townhouse in a cozy town in the mountains. The house across the street was under construction and very loud, to no fault of the landlord. But it would have been nice to know.

Excellent place to unwind for a few days.

Excellent pre-visit communications from super-helpful Alexis. The house is delightful, very comfortable and very well equipped. We had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay - despite some of Mallorca's worst rain for years!

A beautiful authentic old house with all modern conveniences, plenty of space indoors and out and well situated for the village amenities. Really enjoyed our week here, found the rural mountain setting very relaxing.

We, a three generation family ranging from one to 74, loved our stay at Can Fave. The house is charming and well equipped, and the garden with its mountain views is a wonderful place to relax. We enjoyed the short walk to the bakery every morning and the many beautiful hikes in the area. Alexis was an attentive host. Would love to return some time.

Can Fave is the prefect setting for a family holiday. Well stocked house and tastefully decorated, comfortable and homely. The pool was a godsend and the garden a perfect place to relax with a beer at the end of the day. Fornalutx has everything. A well stocked supermarket,bakery, fantastic restaurants and gorgeous streets to wander. All in all a wonderful holiday spent in such a pretty house. It does get hot in the garden room so would be nice if aircon could eventually be fitted here :-) and plan a day out on the day the gardener visits as he’s there the entire morning from 7.30am! Other than that, we couldn’t fault it.

Fornaluxt is so charming, surrounded by the mountains, such beautiful views! The narrow streets and the little town square, were so nice. The house exceeded our expectations. I thought it maybe would be to small for our big family, but no problem at all. The design of the house is smart and has it´s own warmness and charm. It felt so good. Can Fave was a magical setting for our April holiday. Each day we opened our shutters to magnificent views of the Tramantana mountain peaks and drew in the fragrance of orange blossoms which permeated the valley. The house was in a perfect location for a short walk into town for buying groceries, exploring the narrow streets, frequenting the bakery (perhaps a bit too often), going out to dinner or just relaxing in the placa and people watching. We took several longer hiking paths directly from the house into the hills and down to Soller (loved this town). We used the bus stop just up the street for further adventures. We had a car but ended up not using it because we were able to walk or use public transport everywhere. Besides, driving was a bit difficult due to windy narrow roads and an abundance of bicycle traffic. The house had everything we needed and more (including fresh oranges in the garden). Alexis was very attentive and responded quickly to the few questions that came up during our stay. We had a wonderful time at Can Fave and carry home many sweet memories. Note: I fell in love with the Nespresso coffee maker and milk frother. Best coffee ever from a machine!

We just had a wonderful holiday in a charming house and beautiful surroundings. We got the best service from the owners!!

The house is as beautiful and well designed and maintained as the photos. The view from the garden and the pool is breathtaking. The garden has orange trees, lime trees and fig trees (which we helped ourselves to as the fruit was falling off the branches....I hope that was okay Alexis?). The village of Fornalutx is lovely and friendly with some great restaurants and bars and a small (but well stocked supermarket) and a bakery where you can order Ensaïmadas. We were in Mallorca during the heatwave in Europe but the house remained cool and the kids loved the swimming pool. There are plenty of walks around the village and the only thing that stopped us exploring more was the heat. Thanks to Alexis for making us feel so welcome. It is a very special house. We hope to come back for another visit soon and do some longer walks in the mountains. Ali, friends and family

We were lucky to find such a great place in a fantastic location. You do need to know how to drive though, if you have rented a car and plan to explore on your own. Probably not a big deal if you are use to European driving, but much more challenging (and fun) than American roads!

We had a great holiday in Can Fave. It's a charming property with a pool that gets lots of sun. The village of Fornalutx is beautiful and full of character. We came mainly for the walking and were not disappointed - fantastic range of mountain, valley and coastal walks nearby.

They say there is no place like home, but we have found it! I will always remember the scent of orange blossom as we first discovered the garden. The pool has provided hours of entertainment and the friendliness of the village of Fornalutx, simply enhances the property. Can Fave is a great base for hiking. To be recommended is the fairly easy stroll up the Barranc de Biniaraix to Cases de l'Ofre from where you have a great view over Palma bay. We had a fantastic holiday staying in the most wonderful location. Canfave is an oasis of paradise and tranquillity with beautiful views, a lovely pool and in walking distance of one of the best restaurants, we have eaten in in Majorca. The hosts have spent a lot of time in making the villa as comfortable and beautiful inside and just throwing open the shutters each morning was something we always looked forward to.
