My wife and I took a long weekend trip for our first anniversary to Saugatuck. The Oriole was in a great location with parking on site, and was easily walkable to the shops of downtown Saugatuck. It was exactly as advertised. We had a great trip and enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Oriole Cottage. We took in the tulip festival in Holland and enjoyed the quite laid back atmosphere of the cottage. We relaxed in the hot-tub and enjoyed cooking on the grill. Just a great overall stay. Thank you!

Great location, absolutely loves the hot tub, we visited late October. The only reason for 1 less star is the bed was really really hard. Made it incredibly difficult to sleep. We were able to open windows to get air flow, but would also really benefit from some kind of fan. A keurig would have been nice too. Considering it only sleeps 1-2 people. But can’t beet the location to town and hot tub.

Bed and pillows were awful! Bathroom was soooo bad. Shower was like being in a coffin. No railing going up the stairs! So over priced for the shape of the place. Loved the location but would never recommend anyone stay there. Much better competition out there!

My husband and I loved our stay. It was exactly what we needed for our relaxing getaway. The process to check in and check out was easy. Everything was clean. I would absolutely stay again.

Everything was great during our stay. Great location. I did attempt to communicate with the owner after booking because I had a potential conflict, but after no response from him...I let it go and just assumed the $$ loss. That was frustrating but the actual place was nice.

Absolutely amazing little cottage! Perfect for our annual mother/daughter vacation! The cottage is perfect! Bed so comfortable, get a/c. The hot tub simply amazing. Loved the short walk into town, and having the washer and dryer was so great! Thank you so very much for a wonderful stay!

The Oriole was clean, quiet and just right for a getaway for one. Walking distance to downtown. Loved the screened porch. A railing on the 15 steps would be a great addition.

Lovely little place! Hot tub was different than pictured, but still fantastic! We didn’t get to use the bikes because of the weather, but were adorable. Bed was comfy. Great location, walked everywhere!

My husband and I had a great time! Super cute little house with full kitchen for cooking, or walk down town for lots of restaurant options! We really enjoyed having the hot tub and the bikes. It was a great place to make memories.

We had a wonderful stay! Perfect size and location for us to relax and enjoy our anniversary trip. The hot tub is great, the bed is comfortable and we definitely used the kitchenette for breakfast and snacks. Thanks for a great trip, Carrie and Ken

Overall, this little cottage was perfect for a weekend. It's walkable to town and while it's on the main road into town, it wasn't terribly busy this fall weekend. The hot tub was private and ready for soaking. The cottage is quite cute and just the right size for a couple for a weekend stay. While the bathroom is large, the shower is quite tiny which could be hard for some people. We didn't use the kitchen appliances as we ate out our meals so we can't comment on that, but the layout is good for a studio-style space. There is no washer/dryer - just something to note. We really enjoyed the extra living space offered by the screened porch. You really feel like you are tucked in the trees. The cottage smelled fresh and the kitchen & bath were clean, except that there was visible dust/dirt on the baseboards throughout the unit. The only other complaint we would have was the mattress was SO firm that it was unforgiving and very uncomfortable for both of us. It could really use a foam topper. Otherwise, we'd stay here again.
