Staff where lovely apartment was superb and location was perfect

Lovely family run hotel, Spacious apartment, comfy bed, good shower. Good location 5 min walk to bars and restaurants.

Beautiful place with the loveliest staff! They went above and beyond to make our stay incredible!

The WiFi didn’t quite reach our room but it worked very well in the reception area and by the pool so wasn’t really an issue for us.

The place was very close to the beach. It was pretty empty (we were during April, before the season), although the swimming pool was already open! The staff was very friendly.

Lovely appartments with everything you need in striking distance to the supermarkets and local restaurants and bars...short stroll to the beach. The place is clean and a real chilled atmosphere

Only one pool.

We booked a vacation at short notice, after first considering the Ixian Grand and Sheraton, which both seemed expensive at £3000 each. So, we tried Martina Hotel / Apartments, which cost just £1100. Obviously we realised there would be some trade-offs in terms of comfort, but a saving of £2000 is definitely worthwhile. This is what we discovered: The Ixian Grand is just a 5 minute walk in one direction, whilst the Sheraton is a 20 minute walk in the other direction. So, you will find yourselves in an area that services some of the the very best hotels. The Martina Hotel / Apartments, is situated in a mainly middle class suburb, off the main road, which limits road noise, relatively close to some excellent and affordable bars and restaurants. The garden and pool are are very well designed and well maintained. The rooms are clean, relatively large, and well equipped with kitchen facilities. The floors are tiled meaning they are kept scrupulously clean, although if you are on a lower floor, you will certainly hear the people in the room above you. The owners are involved in the running of the Hotel / Apartments, and sometimes use it as a base for their own social activities, which can conflict with the needs of the customers. We also found the bar music played very late into the night even when the bar was empty. However, the owners were always very helpful, even though they did not automatically put their customers first. Summary: this place has enormous potential, and with more effective management, could command a much higher price, because it has all the necessary ingredients to be a leading hotel / apartment destination.

A Hotel / Apartment, which under the current management, was not reaching its potential. Just some very simple things improving.

The pool area looks nice, has a bar and comfortable seats. The location is good, near a bus stop (10-15min to rhodos town) and a 15 min walk to a nice beach. Many restaurants in the neighbourhood on walking distance. The bed is comfortable. kitchen and bedroom are fine.

We would have liked to know beforehand that from 9 in the morning until midnight there is very loud music at the pool area. We didn’t come to hear loud rock or dance music all day long at the pool or when you want to sit outside in the evening. When asked to turn it off (we were the only people at the pool area at that time) the answer was no because it should stay on for when guests came out. (he did turn the volume down a little for us which was nice, but in about 20 minutes it was back to very very loud again). Because of this, we did not like to be outside in the evening and this resulted in staying inside the appartment because we didn’t want to eat out every day. (we could hear it in the appartment but not in the bedroom btw, so no lack of sleep because of it. the bedroom was on the other side of the appartment as opposed to the bar/pool). About the appartment: is tidied up every day, so good service. However, the shower is very small and uncomfortable. mostly because of the shower curtain and the fact that the drain was overflowing every time. Also, the window in the kitchen has a curtain that was clearly broken so all the sunshine came in, which made it very hot when we came home (luckily there was airco). you can look inside from outside.

If I need to say one thing, it would be: drinks at the pool were a bit expensive There is not so much to do in the area, but that was perfect for us as we wanted to relax for some days before exploring the island. However, Rhodos city is very close and only a couple of bus stops away!

Location is perfect, big supermarket (SPAR) is behind the corner, beaches are also pretty nice. Owner is excellent, he was really accommodating!

Absolutely outstanding apartments. Very friendly owners and staff. Spotlessly clean pool and pool area, good sized room with air conditioning in the bedroom. Well stocked kitchen with washing machine, oven, hob etc.

Once we arrived at Maritina apartments we faced welcoming and friendly staff (even though the arrival was late). The room was clean, the place is nice and close to the beach. I’ll recommend this place!

Friendly staff who helped solve any problems. At an important moment, we were given an umbrella to use. Beautiful and well maintained area. It takes 7-10 minutes to walk to the nearest beach. Also after 600 meters there is a large spar supermarket and a gas station. Nearby there is a bus stop and many interesting restaurants.
